Shorebase Reorganization Lift – Focal for the successful segregation and hand over transactional aspect of finance department to newly created accounting hub in Europe. This was done remotely in record time with no major surprises.
Collection of Already Expensed Costs – Leading the Nigeria team, we ssuccessfully championed the billing and collection of customs duties that were already expensed and considered not collectible from customers. This involved putting together justification for each transaction for client’s acceptance and approval. Recovered costs are in excess of $2M, several transactions and working with 3 customers (Agip, Nigeria Petroleum Development Company and Addax Petroleum).
Template for Lump Sum vs. Daily Rate – As Senior Project Controller, created a template that determines which route to go with respect to lump sum or daily rate for the Shipyard Company. This template was adopted by the project group.
