SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Deployed enterprise cloud based video-on-demand, X1 browse and search, and cTV back-office architectures and applications. In Comcast’s Enterprise Platform Services group, led national deployments with evolving Video-On-Demand and cloud TV content infrastructures. With business analytics or intelligence, led matrix- managed teams with the delivery of regional, divisional and corporate projects. Strategized solutions of leading edge technologies with continual automation, integration, and improvement of internal and external customer experiences. Reduced deployment velocity time by 40%.
Deployed new IP technology. Comcast Cable was looking to build out and deploy the latest IP Multimedia technology (IMS) platforms for their Xfinity Voice services. Led NE regional cross-functional program teams with delivery of a cap and grow migration process. Program provided functional reuse of CapEx and OpEx along with over $17M ROI savings.
Deployed first A-GPS Location Based Service (LBS) system. Zoombak released new e-Commerce web store with personal location products and GPS services. Collaborated with hosting environments, multiple vendor integration and technology development teams. Performance tested with HP/Mercury (LoadRunner). Delivered multiple error-free PaaS applications on time and within budget.
Rescued $26M mission-critical software upgrade. TruePosition experienced QC issues with upgrade of national E911 software applications. Identified system integration differences among carriers as roadblock. Led team with planning and execution establishing common, enterprise-wide program. Then, successfully delivered national 180- day rollout, reducing deployment errors 98%.
Reduced operating costs 50% with single-bill process. Newly formed Verizon Communications looked to migrate individual legacy billing applications and platforms into an automated single solution. With project management methodologies, built and led national and offshore project teams. Created integrated enterprise billing application program that resulted single billing solutions used today for bundled products and services. Developed pre-deployment product testing, lowering time-to-market 75%.
Verizon required agile financial applications to enable transparent deployment of new ISP services. Created processes to speed pre-launch testing and revision of new billing models within the data center BSS/OSS. Cut launch cycle time by three-fourths and delivered products with zero defects.
Led transparent conversion to digital wireless service. AT&T wireless was embarking on largest analog-to- digital conversion in North America. Project managed technical teams, creating new integrated digital switching and data center environments. Executed 100% successful weekend cut of hundreds of cell sites, three regional cellular switching environments, and millions of customers, with near-zero customer complaint calls.

Senior Project Manager, Comcast, 2011 – 2016.
Within the Enterprise Platform Services PMO group, championed national deployment engineering of Xfinity-X1 metadata products and search service architectures and applications, Video-On-Demand, Cloud DVR (cDVR or cTV), BIG, Complex, Integrated, an Always-On data content strategies, architectures and network infrastructures, and SDLCs from initial market trials to full national footprint deployments, with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Waterfall and Watergile (or bi-modal) methodologies. PM’d teams that used and delivered Splunk Enterprise for operational intelligence, Envivio for video transcoding, Elemental cloud for multiscreen streaming and on demand content, and Vcenter VMware cloud server applications, for RIO – Docker and Kubernetes containers. I was the lead liaison with several business units and corporate levels to plan, execute, and iteratively deliver company Plan of Record projects. This includes EPS’s Lead PM of VOD infrastructure planning and deployment with Comcast's attempted merger with Time Warner.
Senior Project Manager, Wiegert Consulting for client – Comcast, 2010 – 2011.
Led Division PMO with multiple business functions, technologies and third party teams to deliver concurrent development and application projects. Provided program management skills with adaptive processes across multiple geographic areas for Plan of Record projects like delivery of SaaS/PaaS STB deployments, Constant Guard, Xfinity Branding, Xfinity-2-go, Xfinity Video- On-Demand, Universal Data Base, IPV6, Xfinity Wi-Fi, IP Multimedia Systems for Xfinity Voice. Program consisted of projects that ranged from initial market trails to full national deployments with Comcast customers.
Project Lead, Technical Implementation Manager, Sapphire Technologies for client - CitiGroup, 2010.
Using Project Management methodologies and tools, led program implementation teams for wholesale banking services for Citibank's Global Corporate Banking and FI customers worldwide, including Funds Transfer, Multicurrency Payments (WorldLink), Lockbox, Disbursements, Cross-Border ACH and Account Reconciliation Processing. Led local and international teams responsible for millions of financial transactions per day and currencies in the billions moving around the world.

Influenced diversified project team for deliverables using Project Management methodologies and tools (MS Office suite, MS Project), including scope and resource management, creating WBS, requirements gathering, evaluating UML models, exercising QMS, scheduling, planning, QA, agile development and SDLC methodologies, risk, documentation, and communication management for business and enterprise content management.

Led program teams with end-to- end Agile/DevOps methods for design, deployment and integration of new SUPL (Secure User PLane) e-Commerce PaaS Location Based Services including web portal application and multiple back-end wireless and constellation networks and technologies. Provided expert communication and leadership skills with the establishment of project timelines, milestones and stakeholder expectations. Led requirements gathering, RUP sessions, created use cases and managed all change requests with JIRA. Executed budget analysis, procurement of hardware, SDLC, and hosting service contracts with SUNGARD and multiple solution vendors. Drove visionary research program to pioneer the concepts of ESM (emergency select messaging) networks that leverages cloud computing, and provides a value utility for both wireless carriers and public safety organizations serving the public. ESM is a communication process and network system designed to save lives and reduce loss of life and property. Formed LLC and researched design, development, administration, and business value of emergency information with all wireless carriers and constellated communications infrastructures using a variety of protocols.

Senior Member of Technical Staff, Verizon Communications, 2000 – 2003.
Led technical team with development, administration, diverse customer product releases, financial planning, and delivery of internet services and product billing applications. Created QA (quality assurance) policies that delivered “0” zero defects when released in production. Spearheaded leadership team when GTE and Bell Atlantic merged to form Verizon Communications. Successfully scoped, budgeted, developed, and implemented migration of regional billing platforms with dissimilar data models from multiple company business units into single national platform. Created policy, governance, and technical environments for the “One Bill” methodology used by many enterprise companies today.

With an aggressive proactive approach, directed all software/hardware/OS lifecycles of multiple Lucent 5E Cellular and UNIX/Sun/Solaris platforms and databases for multiple client/server environments. Collaborated all engineering data generated by wireless network for analysis and network performance with Lucent’s AutoPACE tool. Systems Administrator for company’s REMEDY ARS platform. Co-Created a start-up software company that provided NAMS (network analysis and management or BI) information applications for multiple wireless carriers. Provided NOC’s (network operation centers) with real-time BIG data that provided peak quality and efficiency information for executive, operations, and engineering personnel. Utilized location data for optimization and performance of mobile devices and networks. NAMS applications were pioneering technologies that provided a foundation for today’s wireless engineering BI and BIG data tools and LBS (location based services) standards.
