Procurement for Abener Engineering and Construction Services, North America, required Procurement & Contract activities associated with the Solana Solar and Hugoton Ethanol Projects. This position reported to Purchasing Manager and Project Leads of these two (2) major Projects.

Formulating all bid packages for major equipment and/or services, developing commercial evaluations, creating Technical Evaluation requests, and coordinating point of contact communication between vendors and Engineering;
Management of the direct and indirect departmental personnel. This included the Vendor Pre-Qualification Specialists, Expeditors, Buyers, Inspectors, and QA/QC on a as needed basis;
Daily interface with Legal, Cost Control, Engineering;
Scheduling various proposal groups to manage required deliverables.
Solana Solar, Arizona
A total of one hundred ninety eight purchase orders and contract were issued to secure the materials or services needed at the site. Preparation of the final as purchased package for submittal into the SAP system.

Duties included:
Formulating all bid packages for major equipment and/or services,
Contracts required extensive negotiations, to facilitate the achievement of Engineering’s continual compressed and expedited timelines.

A total of one hundred fourteen purchase orders and contract were issued to secure the materials or services needed at the site
Monsanto Enviro-Chem Systems, Purchasing/Spare Parts Engineered Systems, Chesterfield, Missouri
Reporting directly to Head of the Product Group oversaw the purchase and deliveries of all Dynawave Projects as executed by the project team.
Duties included:
Formulating all bid packages for major equipment and/or services,
Developing commercial evaluations,
Creating Technical Evaluation requests,
Coordinating point of contact communication between vendors and Engineering. In addition to developing long terms agreements with items to be established as sole sourced for this product line.
Oversight of the purchase, inventory, quotation process and delivery of the spare part business in the Dynawave and Special Products group. This operation averaged in sales of $ 4,000,000.00 with a net profit margin of 40%.
Involved with the development and securing of vendors to provide a specialty metals pipe and fittings vessels. This included, materials from the mills, pipe fabricators, and quotations to customers and deliveries to meet needed scheduled. This material was stored in various areas around the country and required an inventory system and a system for distribution.
As part of this group, successfully executed the fabrication of the first set of fiberglass vessels to be built under the ASME RTP1 code, here in the United States.
