MAIN ACTIVITIES COVERING

OFC Project Handling

•Execution of OFC project T&D, HDD, Trenching, Ducting, DIT, OFC Blowing, Splicing and FMS installation. All OFC project related activities like Trenching, Ducting works, Cable blowing, Route survey.

•Making new fiber optic rings, and maintaining the related Equipment.

•Preparation of MB Sheet Verification of ABD, Material Reconciliation/projection & Preparation of MIS, Sheen Standard depth will be measured from lower side of natural ground level to the base of the trench.

•Prepare SLD project of fiber Networks.

•All OFC project related activities like Trenching, Ducting works, Cable blowing, Route survey, Joint pits & Route marker installation.

•Different clients have slightly marginal differences in trench depth and we cater to the needs of the customers.

•Outside the city limits trench will normally follow outer boundary of the berm, where the berm has burrowed pits or forestation, or when cable is to be laid along culverts/bridges or cross-streams, trench may be made closer to road edge, or in some cases, over embankment or shoulder of the road.

•The cable will be tested before pulling/blowing to ensure continuity as well as to check all the parameters in both side.

•Supply and Installation of Distribution Box

•Distribution boxes will be positioned at every location where a main cable is to be distributed to sub - areas with lesser pair cables.

•Cable blowing machine, (Cable jet or any other machine), would be deployed along with a good compressor.

•Fusion splicing And Rabin Splicing.

•Aerial Cabling At places where open trenching is not possible due to very narrow roads and due to delay in obtaining Row, aerial cabling will be adopted as a temporary solution. Also by using special cables (ADSS) this will be laid along the Transmission lines for longer distances.

MAINTENANCE

•Daily to Daily survey all optical fiber root and reporting Management.

•Two optical fiber splicing methods are available for permanent joining of two optical fibers. Both methods provide much lower insertion loss compared to fiber connectors.

•Then optical fiber link’s to down them we check the breaking fiber distance to OTDR source.

•Preparing monthly inventory of the materials used to maintain the Re-order level.

•Fiber joint detailing and analysing, handling caution joint and Power meter & power source, Laser source testing.

•Fault finding & Handling fiber breakdown and restoring it, minimizing downtime.

•Rectification, link to link testing, analysing splice losses and link diverting.

•Patching, and swapping of fiber in critical condition.

•DO Planned outage activity properly without effecting services within MTTR

•Working Good knowledge of Fiber tools like OTDR, Splicing machine,

LSM, OPM.

•Supervise trouble shooting of OFC cabling, maintenance of Fiber
