Competently managed a 100,000 square foot facility, 29 employees and gross annual sales between $6-9M. Performed as Group Warehouse Manager the first three years overseeing/supervising the facilities located in Columbus, Bainbridge, Albany, and Tifton, GA as well as Panama City, FL.
Inventory/Assets Accountable for asset management of inventory and equipment valued between $5M to $8M. Managed in-stock and out-of-stock positions for the Columbus facility that sold over 5M cases with over 430 SKUs.
Operated within an annual budget of approximately $1M.
Assisted with audits as needed including providing assistance to professional outside auditors such as Price, Waterhouse and Cooper. Conducted site reviews of other branches before audits as well as actually auditing some of the other facilities.
Shipping/Receiving Supervised shipping and receiving of approximately 18 transports daily. Continuous experience in conducting and supervising quality control.
Human Resources Managed, trained and evaluated all levels of employees, created/supervised employee work schedules, and ensured adherence to all personnel policies and procedures.

During a 10 year span, provided management/support of a territory that included 14 branches within FL, GA, AL, MS, and TN. Supervised and trained employees at multiple branches in different departments such as Production, Route Sales, Delivery, Warehouse Management, Shipping/Receiving, Safety, most departments of company.
Warehouse Managed a 28,000 square feet warehouse, an 800,000 case branch annually, all inventory (including 12,000 cases on floor daily), forklift training, and ordering/shipping/receiving. Assets valued up to $1M. Charged with the supervision of a total of 14 Coca-Cola Warehouses at one time.
Shrinkage Traveled to different Coca-Cola branches to identify and implement processes to improve shrinkage regarding audits, quality and related.

Training Center Facility became training center for up to 10 supervisors at a given time. Recognized as a model branch for other branches to emulate.
Quality Audit Oversaw annual product Quality Audit to ensure audit was completed properly. Received recognition for receiving “exceptional” or “normal” ratings on all inside audits which demonstrated a tight control over the shrinkage.
Route Sales Trained all 20 employees in department how to drive the trucks and conduct ongoing vehicle maintenance, how to merchandise product in the 300 customer stores during 25 driving miles and approximately 30 stops per day. Supported new business development by providing Sales Manager with leads for new prospective customers.
Safety Program Initiated support/leadership for the company Safety Program ensuring training sessions were offered that included safe ways to drive, park, pull out, and conduct maintenance of 26,000 pound trucks, put out safety road guides, distribute flyers/posters throughout plant, created recognition program as well as error write-ups to make employees accountable and to significantly improve overall safety of employees, vehicles and facility.
Production Began in production which led to Route Sales servicing approximately 300 existing customers per week making about 30 stops per day. With the help of one assistant, loaded/unloaded truck driving approximately 25 miles per day. Advised Sales Manager regarding any prospective new business
