The largest Canadian producer of closed captioning for all major Canadian TV networks.

Offline Editor – September 2015-Present (part-time)

In order to expand their diversity in the marketplace, I was tasked with the responsibility of growing the company’s offline department, which was a relatively new service offered by the organization. I was responsible for arranging high quality captioning in accordance with Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission guidelines.

Successfully captioned over 250 shows, while consistently maintaining error free formatting.

Self-transitioned into a new complex software in order to accommodate growing business requirements.

Directly impacted the organization’s success and growth which has resulted in NCC acquiring 6 additional offline editors to continually increase the offline capacity.

Created an employee survey which provided an understanding of attitudes, preferences and complaints within specific employee demographics. This was key in formulating strategies which would assist in increasing employee satisfaction and engagement.
