Professional Statement

Over 20 year’s solid experience in Seafood/Fish Factory- operation managements, procurement, processing, distribution, administrative and cost control activities, machineries, materials and inventory, quality assurance/control, human resources and information systems.

Expertise in all range of marine, fresh water and farmed fishery products, Vegetable products, product development and value addition of raw and cooked, fresh and frozen block/IQF.

Good exposure to Stock and Inventories, Marketing and Logistics Operations Management for supplying marine products (both, fresh and frozen form), export documentation. PL Analysis & profitability, Analyzing & taking corrective actions towards costing.

Project handling right from site selection, technical advice & Draw up plans and schedules for the commissioning and operations of the plant, selection of process equipment & machineries.

Plan and implement import/export strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization.

Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant export/import activities and support in relation to the organization’s sales, purchasing, materials management, production and overall operating functions.

Negotiate contracts for sales/purchases and manage renewals, review contracts as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer/supplier relation.

Responsible for Developing & Implementing Management Plans & Strategies, MIS reports.

A resourceful person with hands-on experience of recruiting and training a successful team, excellent communication and Interpersonal skill, PC Conversant in MS office.

Relevance of experience in developing countries, including countries in Africa, Asia.
