Janitor for a year
Learned to weld on breaks and lunches W/Tig 2,3,4, and 6 G, Mig 2,3,4, and 6 G steal, aluminum, flux core, stick welding on angle iron, oxyfuel burner, track burner, table burner, plasma cutter, and torch cutter
Ran a 12 ft. shear and a break press
Worked in debur on and off while I was there I used air grinders, pencil grinders, jitter bugs, sand blasters small, and outside one
Forklift, over head crane, built structural platforms for hell fire missiles, structural joints for platforms, welded angle iron for housing for submarine computer, cut angles on armor plated steal for hummers and army tanks, built tool boxes out of aluminum for army tanks
Learned to read calibers, mics, tape measurers, dial indicator, blue print, to lay out 2 inch on 12 inch centers
Campbell Engineering 1999-2001
Worked in debur doing first part for quality and finish parts Sand blasted all the parts that needed it for over time
I ran a 10 wire EDM machine
I ran two Hass machines and manual lathe
Learned to run CMM Bridgeport and View finder checking first part and finished parts
AC Industries: 2005-2008
Welded Aluminum mig and tig
Ran a 32 ft. manual lathe turning down steal tubes from 2 inch thick down to 1.750 thick then moved it over to a CNC bore machine drilling holes and taping them
United Launch Alliance: 2008 to date
Started in the tube shop welding stainless steal from 0.016 to 3/8 of an inch some aluminum
I did verisfoam on tubing, vacuum bagging, and tube with a programmable automatic bender.
Went to California in 2010 stayed there for 6 month learn resistance welding on bulkheads and skins for the atlas rocket, learned to run a 10 ft. circular trim fixture to cut skins to size.
After that went into inspection, doing inspection on torque, wire harness assembly, RTV, tig welds, resistance welds, frication stir welds, edge distance on spot welds, tig welds.
I can read blue prints, calibers, mic., ohm meters.
I have certs in weld inspection, blueprint reading, RTV, resistance weld, vacuum bagging, verisfoam, tig welding, friction stir weld, forklift driving, cork bonding, and torque.
I have my own weld hood and tools if needed.
