Academic Projects:
Laboratory Report for detailed analysis on Open circuit and Short circuit tests on single phase transformer.
Characteristics and parameters of a single phase transformers are studied.
Evaluated and determined the parameters of experimental transformer from OC & SC test.
Estimated efficiency & regulation at various loads.
Simulink implementation of induction machine model-a modular approach.
Implementation of a modular Simulink model for induction machine simulation has been introduced.
The user has access to all the internal variables for getting an insight into the machine operation.
Any machine control algorithm can be simulated in the Simulink environment with this model without actually using estimators.
Design and Implementation of transformer-less inverter with virtual DC bus concept for grid connected PV system using DC-DC converter.
This concept is implemented in an attempt to eliminate the common mode leakage current due to absence of a transformer in a system.
Adopted Virtual DC bus concept and realized with the switched capacitor technology
Simulation results shown using Matlab/Simulink and prototype was designed.
Water tank monitoring system using PLC
Inductive proximity sensors are used (type PNP) in order to set low level and high level inside the tank.
Designed a PLC program using ladder logic that simulates tank being filled with water.
Synthesized the circuit, programmed the PLC and the research is done based on cost and ease of usability.
Automatic opening and closing of door using PLC.
Designed Ladder Logics for the door simulation using LogixPro-500.
Used Level sensors to track the door at the opening and closing edge.
Graphical interface simulation using Pro-Sim Simulation tool.
Designed the layout of CMOS transistor and done simulation (8 bit full adder).
Designed an 8bit full adder using MAGIC tool.
Extracted the layout file to LT-spice.
Applied the simulation and obtained the desired output.[i]
