HIGHLIGHTS OF ACHIEVEMENTS
ASSESSED and DESIGNED an alternative program with a wide scope of coverage for First Group’s $300M commercial liability program. Result: Instead of facing a $2M premium increase improved coverage and saved $5M annually.
CREATED and NEGOTIATED an entirely new panel of insurers involving Lloyd’s members and General Insurers for the UK Rail Industry in 2005.
NEGOTIATED the integration of six different major Property & Casualty programs in six different countries into one international program. Result: Initial premium savings for Stagecoach Group of $4M and $10M in savings over four years.
EVALUATED and REVISED NJ Transit’s internal Third Party Claims handling policies and procedures. Result: An increased level of efficiency and communication, more accurate reserving and better settlement opportunities.
PURSUED and NEGOTIATED the purchase of an OCIP program for the Trans Hudson Rail Tunnels project which had a total premium spend of $161M over the 12 year project duration. This OCIP was the largest ever in the USA. Due to the termination of the project, SUCCESSFULLY NEGOTIATED a total premium refund of $145M.
DEVELOPED an "in-house" third party claims handling capability for Auto & Casualty claims in several different countries for Stagecoach Group. Result: All became self sufficient Profit Centers with an aggregate net profit of more than $10M annually.
