Tenet Health System – Huron Valley Sinai Hospital & Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (MI) (2015 to Present)

Head of human resources for 158-bed acute care hospital, with 900 FTEs and a 94-bed rehabilitation institute, with an addition of 30 outpatient sites and 300 FTEs. As HR senior leadership of both hospitals, partner with other C-Suite members on strategic goals that impact people, quality, compliance, growth and risk. Direct employee relations, labor relations, and advise on best practices, policies, and employment laws. Direct and manage a staff of human resources generalist as well as oversight of occupational health staff. Labor relations includes the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement with the Michigan Nurses Association (MNA), and responding to grievances, arbitrations, and other employment matters with government agencies.
