Conducted inspection on First Article, in process, final, purchased, subcontracted, and parts going to and from heat treatment to insure they comply with specifications, prints, and no operations were missed

Dimensionally inspected parts using (CMM), Optical Comparator, Inside & Outside Micrometers, Calipers, Test Indicators, Depth Micrometers, Radius gages, Height Gages, setting fixtures and set dial bore gauges with ring standards and other hand tools

Ensured all measuring instruments, micrometers, calipers, checking standards, and other instruments were calibrated or checked for accuse

Managed the Defective Material Report (DMR) and Customer Feedback (CF) report systems, ensuring that nonconforming parts were quarantined until it was determined if the parts could be used as is, reworked to fix or complete operations that were missed, scrap parts were remade if needed, and all scrap material was disposed of properly

Assisted the Plant Manager and Shop Supervisors with putting process in place in order to keep defective material and rework problems from happening again o Change blueprints and/or job travelers
