My responsibilities included pressing of all types of garments jeans, khakis, small shirts and blouses using various large pressing equipment.

My responsibilities included cutting asphalt using heavy construction equipment. I also used the industrial jackhammer to drill the public streets, tamper dirt down, spread asphalt and pipe laying.

Reason for leaving: Weather caused company to lay off employees.

My responsibilities were to ensure the work areas were clean, assist the carpenters and other general work.

Reason for leaving: Started my own company.

Heavenly Wheels Transportation Service/ San Antonio, TX

Dates of employment: 07/2002 – 02/2009

My responsibilities as co-owner (with my spouse) involved overseeing the daily operations as well as transporting the elderly/disabled/Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s clients. Create and negotiate contracts; such as the Texas Work Source Commission (welfare-to-work program), Warm Springs, Alzheimer’s Foundation, Parkinson’s Foundation and the Alamo Area Counsel of Governments. Worked with TXDOT’s Senior Transportation Committee. Providing provide door-to-door transportation.

Reason for leaving: Moved to Houston TX.

Dates of employment: 12/2015 – 01/2016

My responsibilities were to assist the regular delivery drivers deliver packages to customers at their resident.

Reason for Leaving: this was a temporary position.

Tyson Foods / Houston TX

Dates of employment: 06/2016 – 10/2016

This temporary positon included creating the packaging for the meat products for delivery to their perspective locations. I also worked in the boxing area of the product for shipping.

Education

HOUSTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE, HOUSTON, TX

I have completed my spring, summer and Fall semester and now I am about to start my second year. Currently my GPA is 3.1. Due to the need for employment, I have had to place my desire to obtain my degree on hold.

Communication

Since relocating to Houston, my wife has been diagnosed with M.S. this has caused a great hardship and I have had to take on various temporary positions. I am pleased to say that she has now completed her Masters Degree and her health is now stable. I am seeking a permanent position with your company.

Skills

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office and Power Point. Ability to work with construction equipment, as well as cleaning equipment.
