Project –Far East Broadcasting Company Philippines: Transfer of (DZAS) AM Broadcast & (DZFE) FM studios, Tower and Antenna to One Corporate Centre Building (Est. @ Php 70M pesos Project)

Develop and Oversee the process of designing the new studio from scratch to Final plan/design/drawing of New Dual Function Broadcast Studios and Transmitter room, Administration room, MR & Drama studio, Air Broadcast Booth, Air Control rooms, Lobby and offices

Manage and Oversee 3 major contractors; Architectural Design Firm (Interior and Acoustic design Architects, Mechanical & Electrical Design Group, Construction Group.

Study, Review and Approved critical design i.e.,

a.Design all acoustical treatments and sound isolation requirements, which includes:

i.Isolation details of walls and ceiling (if needed);

ii.pre-made and in situ customized acoustic and noise abatement

treatments for the acoustic spaces and adjoining spaces;

iii.Schedule of placements of aforesaid acoustical treatments;

b. Provide detail drawings for all the acoustical treatment and interior

acoustics of the various rooms that need acoustic and noise abatement/control requirements, to achieve defined Reverberation Time (RT60), Noise Criteria (NC) levels and Room Response;

Oversee the overall project from demolition, transfer of Antenna to a newly Fabricated Tower at the new site.

Oversee and Manage fabrication and construction at site of (35meters height) Approx., 115Ft Telescopic Self Support Tower located at the Roof Deck safely and timely completed.

Played key role as the overall PM, and was able to achieve and completed the project development and construction of the whole 600 sq. meter project.

Led contractor and in house engineers thru the installation of Broadcast 50Kwatt transmitter equipment, broadcast controls, Data Structured cabling to broadcast operation launching.

Manage the Design Network (OSP) using Fiber Optic Network Cables and Roll out of 300k lines available for connection in the following areas;

Introduced and Implement new design Technology of Transmission Network System using SDH

Technology.

Manage and Oversee simultaneous projects: Planning and Design & Approval; Outside Plant Construction (Civil works and Cable layout in areas mentioned), Structure cabling In-House requirement for Exchange Offices.

Manage Oversee and direct three (3) Major contractors foreign contractor: Siemens, Sumitomo Corporation, Tomen Corporation, and one (1) Filipino owned contractor -Phil. Tech. Corporation.

Introduced new Telecommunications Standard by using American Standard set thru the Bid Document and Proposals during the bidding process and review.

Project Completed in 2 years, 6 months advance compared to targeted 3 years contracted project.

Savings were achieved in Million of Dollars by completing the project in advance to projected completion date for 2 years instead of 3 years as mandated by the Provisional Authority given by the Philippine Congress and National Telecommunication Commission.

Civil & Construction Project:

Infrastructure Project: Training Facilities and Dormitory (Php 2.0M pesos worth of Project). Cost savings Approx., @ Php 1.2M pesos. Barangay Tulo Calamba City

Oversee and Develop area profile by providing vital data, engineering study/docs and profile in reference to Architectural detail plans/drawings.

Study, review and approved detailed plans/drawing i.e., architectural, electrical and civil works for construction.

Direct and manage liason officers and engineers in acquiring Permits and licenses required for the construction of facilities and site development of 2hectare lot.

Manage two (2) major contractors: Architectural/Civil Firm and Construction group for the from staking, construction to completion of one (1) Training Facilities 63sqmtr., area, two (2) Common Comfort Rooms 50sqmtr., area, one (1) 63 sqmtr., area of Dormitory. Complete with data networking infrastructure and telecommunication. Project Cost Php 9.5 M

Completed project in targeted/forecasted five (5) months construction period.

Save owner/ developer of the facilities of about Php 1.2M pesos by introducing new type of technology/methodology using pre fabricated machine made steel frame system.

Introduce Green Technology lighting by constructing a Hybrid Solar System using a combination of Solar Panels and Windmill System.

Study and Research the technology abroad particularly in Guangzhou China and personally went and fly abroad for the acquisition of the Hybrid Solar System.

System includes the following; Solar Panel and Control Portable Equipment, cables and accessories, and Wind System. Tower and footing hardware does include.

Led team of engineers and construction firm, in the fabrication of the Wind System Tower and footing, installation to operations.

This Project was simultaneously manage together with other Infrastructure Project

Oversee and Develop area profile by providing vital data, engineering study/docs and profile in reference to Architectural detail plans/drawings.

Saved company of Approx., Php 500,000.00 pesos worth by using a quality and closed monitoring performance and up to date completion reporting system. A regular Project coordination meeting on a weekly and monthly basis.

Using Microsoft Project management software and report system project was completed with zero casualty and timely completion with savings.

Construction completed equipped with all required infrastructure system for the Precision Production i.e., Air Pipe system Mechanical system, Data networking system and centralized Closed Circuit TV monitoring system.

Engineering Plant Production Change Management System… and Process: Project Full Time Consultancy

Manage 7 managers (Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Admin and Human Resources., Finance and Warehousing) of whole plant for about 10 months and act as the Plant Manager

Saved company million pesos worth of expenses due to rejects by introducing Quality Management System ISO 9008.

Develop strategy thru Change management system, developed and re-organized the whole organization by implementing and using Lean and Mean type of management with less bureaucracy.

Increase Production Output and Lessen about 80% reject rate of finished product. This was done by introducing a new process complete with monitoring system and traceability system.
