Objective

To secure full or part time employment in the marine industry, utilizing my skills and experience

obtained from many years of working in this field.

Qualifications

Have been working in the marine industry since 1982 and self-employed since 1992. Worked mostly on

high end yachts and sport-fish in the 45' to 200' range and plenty of smaller vessels. Very

accomplished in electronics installs, electrical repairs and installs, hydraulics and pneumatic installs

and repairs. Have fabricated electrical and distribution panels, installed all kinds of electronics,satellite

and A/V systems. Installed electronic,pneumatic,hydraulic and cable/manual helms and shift controls.

Rigged many towers and center consoles. Posses excellent fiberglass and woodworking skills. After

years of experience have become very good at problem solving, troubleshooting and design.

Very good communication and customer relations, as well as time management and organizational

skills

• Hunter marine in Alachua, Fl. 1973-1974 finish carpentry, fiberglass and gelcoat, wiring and rigging

(part time)

• Calypso Marine electronics First year in marine business 1982-84

• Diversified Marine Services 1984-1988 Did carpentry,electrical and electronics installs,custom

interiors and exteriors

• Managed electrical and electronics part of a joint yard venture with a partner on the Miami river

• Crossover boats Miami, Fl. Built 14'-18' flats boats. Fabricated moulds, fiberglass

hulls,decks,consoles & parts, both traditional and vacuum

bagging,rigging,consoles,engine,pumps,lights.helms,trim tabs. 1991-1992

• Self-employed Marine services company. All facets of the marine industry. 1992 to present.

maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and installs for several boat brokers and marine suppliers as

well as my own clientele.

Other Experience

Worked in my father's garage and gas station fixing cars and trucks.

Worked plumbing with my uncle's company

Painted cars and boats with Emeron and Awl- grip. As well as non skid decks and cockpits.

Sub-contracted installation of low level emergency escape lighting on several cruise ships.

Experience in running crews and delegating tasks.
