Short term contract

Employer: Pernis Shell Refinary – ( ENGIE, COFELY, GDF SUEZ ), joint venture project.

Shut down project.

I was in charged with a overhaul project with inspection and certified for rotating and static equipment for Shell company shut down, working, training and supervising special teams with local technicians. Also I was authorized to sign down all the sheets and all documentations for commissioning and start up, including adjusting, alignment, repairs and testing the equipment new installed. (Reactors, heat excangers, pumps, gas compressors, turbines, chillers, lifting equipments, mechanical and hydraulic power systems, bolt tensioning), repairing and maintenance activities for diesel engines and of those with petrol injection. Ability to make repairs and read technical references, diagnoses malfunction and perform necessary repairs utilizing tools and test equipment.

Period: May 2015 – June 2016

Position: Mechanical Commissioning Specialist

Employer: Kentz Engineering and Construction

Location : KGM Cartagena Reficar - Expansion Project / Columbia

Responsibilities: Heavily involved in the recent expansion phase of this project,(construction, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning) of all the additional equipment installed. Review project specification for piping installation and testing, procedure for inspection for completeness and testing of piping systems, design instructions and vendor/supplier information. Reviews/approves test package for completeness of content and for latest revision of documents used.

Responsibilities: Responsible for supervision of field executions for activities related to Maintenance through structured meetings designed to reach accord regarding most important jobs to be scheduled during the approaching schedule of preventive / corrective and shutdown maintenance, Formulate & prepare a complete plan job package as per list of SAP. Overhauling, Preventative, Corrective and breakdown maintenance for Equipment: Siemens and Nuovo Pignone turbo-compressors, Rolls Royce turbo-generators, FRAMO fire fighting pumps, CAT Emergency Diesel Generators, large LIEBHERR pedestal cranes, gantry and manual lifting devices, Large Nitrogen generation and compression package, Air Compressors, Sewage Water Treatment Plant, fresh water making plant, LMF Breathing Air compressors, large LMF and Nuovo Pignone Fuel Gas Reciprocating Compressors, pressure vessel, tanks and piping networks for utilities and process services, installing of Low Density Polyethylene granule extruder machine.

Check and evaluate vibration record. Preservation activities for Gas compressors, Turbines, valves and different equipment. Work closely with local trainee & monitoring training progress.

Responsibilities: Liaising with production and other discipline supervisors to carry out safe and efficient planned maintenance routines.
