Lead Technical Writer

•Quickly turned around the PayPal Point-of-Sale (POS) API SDK documentation for developers to create the PayPal Payment card for its first debut at Home Depot.

•Published on schedule for releases 2-weeks to 1-month apart, the PayPal API reference and Express Checkout integration documentation for small-to-large merchant online stores; documentation not only covered detailed API field descriptions but explained with clarity how to integrate features using supporting examples and screenshots I created by running the code with in-house testing tools.

•Used Framemaker 9.0 with DITA Open Toolkit as the authoring environment and Microsoft Visio to create diagrams; used Eclipse and Altova XMLSpy to generate SOAP API diagrams from WSDLs and as initial source to write API documentation.

•Delivered documentation in PDF and HTML formats, edited HTML and XML source as required, and pushed documentation to stage and live sites using the SiteRefresh 2 CMS.

•Authored in XMetal how to create an XML application with Borland’s Delphi IDE.

•Developed online help procedures for building Visual Component Library Forms applications using Delphi 7; ported procedures to Delphi 8.

•Coded in Pascal and combined the code with Delphi IDE components to produce examples; wrote supporting documentation using the output from compiling and running the code to illustrate graphics functions, database connections, and Active X components.
