Center for Disease Control, Atlanta GA,

Managed renovation of offices per the client’s requirements. Site manager and primary point of contact for CDC Construction Management. Controlled subcontractors onsite work activities and provided coordination with CDC in-house building management for service disruptions requests, work orders, security to minimized disruption to operations.

Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, (MARTA), Atlanta GA

Quality Control/Safety Inspector for MARTA’s track and station rehabilitation program.

Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Marietta GA (SABER Contract)

Managed multiple construction and renovation projects for Base Civil Engineering Dept. In response to Base Civil Engineering Statement Of Objectives for Design Build task orders, produced project specific Scope Of Work, 35% design and estimates. Negotiated final budgets with Base Contracting, managed each project from solicitation of contractors to project close-out.

Defense Commissary Agency Robins AFB, GA (New Commissary); Ft Gordon, GA Commissary (Arch/Refrigeration Upgrade): Managed site QAQC and Safety programs. Inspected reinforced concrete foundations, concrete floors, site concrete, earth work, aggregate base, CMU/brick and structural steel. Managed shop drawings, processed submittals, updated as-built drawings and prepared Request for Information. Coordinated independent testing, wrote project reports, prepared scope of work for change orders, created estimates for Change Orders, evaluated contractors Request for Change and related proposals. Prepared site Specific Safety Plan, conducted safety meetings, safety inspections, safety incident reporting, and chaired safety committee.

Fulton County GA Transportation Project Management Team: Fulton County, GA

Managed safety program for multiple roadway/intersection improvements, bridge replacement and streetscape projects throughout Fulton County. Reviewed contractors safety plans for compliance with owner’s requirements, safety presentations at preconstruction and construction meetings, onsite monitoring of contractor safety procedures, safety and accident reporting, issuing of non-compliance.

Fulton County GA Camp Creek Water Reclamation Facility Expansion (Maintenance and Operation Center): Fulton County, GA

Duties included quality control and inspections of contractors work for adherence to plans and specifications, enforced job site safety rules, held site safety meetings for tradesmen. Prepared Monthly and Daily Project Reports, Safety reports, processing of RFI’s, Change Orders, Submittals and Shop Drawings. Project included reinforced concrete foundations, concrete floors, reinforced site concrete pavement, earth work, underground utilities, aggregate base, CMU/Brick, utilities and structural steel.

Atlanta GA Capital Improvement Program: Atlanta, GA

Provided QAQC / Safety oversight of Atlanta’s Creek Crossing Inspection Repair and Right of Way Inspection programs. Reviewed Inspection Reports for adherence to project specified criteria, made recommendation for future inspection and repairs, adjusted status of Creek Crossing for future repairs and inspections frequency conducted quality control meeting with inspectors. Management responsibilities included site and crew inspections, enforcement safety requirements, as well as verification and correction of inspection reports.

Dekalb County Division of Watershed Management: Dekalb County, GA

Coordinated and scheduled construction/maintenance crews and contractors, prepared work orders on Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS), reviewed contractors pay applications, inspected the countywide water distribution and collection system, inspected work sites for safety violations and protection of public health and safety. Scheduled and coordinated Sanitary Sewer Infiltration and Inflow inspection crews and performed Quality control check of GIS survey mapping of Dekalb County sanitary sewer system.

Charles City County Educational Campus: Charles City, VA

Duties included inspecting installation of underground utilities, site concrete, asphalt pavement, parking lots, athletic fields, package wastewater treatment plant, student cafeteria and extensive site earth work. Inspected contractor’s work for adherence to project plan and specifications, site safety inspections and approved contractors work for payment.

American Airlines: Chicago, IL.

Duties included quality control and inspection of Jet bridge caisson foundations at American Airlines terminal/concourse, installation of reinforced concrete pavement for aircraft parking aprons and air cargo aircraft parking. Duties also included inspection of caissons, foundation and concrete floor of a 130,000 square foot air cargo/administrative facility.

Beulah Baptist Church Site Improvements: Atlanta, GA

Inspected provided quality control of earth work, underground utilities, drainage structures, concrete work for 300 space parking lot.

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport: Atlanta, GA.

Duties included quality control of a concrete batch plant supplying concrete for the constructing a 14 ft. diameter drainage structure to reroute the Flint River and paving of access roads.
