Job responsibilities: Managed the design and estimating of new and remodeling projects such as the Marquardt facility expansion in Lawton, Oklahoma and the Ferranti-Marquardt headquarters in Santa Monica, Ca. In charge of furniture selection and layouts, as well as placing all company floor plans on computer.

Job responsibilities: Supervised the design and construction of million dollar plus remodeling projects including laboratories, office buildings, the main entrance lobby, and executive headquarters, reporting directly to the director of facilities, and senior vice-president of construction. Project management responsibilities included "concept to completion" facilities expansions and remodels, including scheduling and budget. Preparation of construction documents, bid coordination of designers, engineers, maintenance personnel, and contractors in compliance with state and local fire, building, and handicapped (A.D.A.) codes. Initiated and supervised the computer-aided facilities management project in 1991.

Retail Work: Orchards Supply Stores, Walgreen's.

Camp Pendleton and North Island, Ca.: Supervising project manager for new construction of numerous facilities on base, including the Naval Training Center, Temporary Lodging Facility, three Marine Fitness Centers, four Child Care Facilities, Vandergrift Shopping Center, and Bachelor Enlisted Quarters. I was also responsible for developing the base architectural standards. FEMA: Restoration of the New Orleans schools after Hurricane Katrina. Restoration of the Hudson River Valley buildings and in New York City, including the GSMT Library and the Natural History Museum, due to damage caused by Hurricane Irene.
