Full responsibility for global supply chain and logistics to include but not limited to: Managing supply chain from raw material to end user, Managing fulfillment needs and objectives, Manage global sourcing and Manage overseas Kraus offices and factories and associated production, Facilities Management domestically, Domestic Distribution and Warehousing Optimization, Manage distribution center needs nationally, Inventory Management, procurement & forecasting. Target a broad international market on several continents to meet client needs for a multi modal logistics provider who could manage and optimize the supply chain needs of moving product from raw material at the point of manufacture down to end user. Full responsibility for $28M+ global transportation budget. Manage the importation of 4,500 + containers annually for 6 distribution centers totaling over 750,000 SF. Manage all FCL & LCL movements outside of the U.S. Manage all domestic transportation which includes TL & LTL, rail, drayage and full responsibility for all supply chain / distribution functions for each DC. Manage 8 direct reports and 32 indirect reports on all logistics functions, customer service, project management and distribution. Full responsibility for all freight forwarder, trucking, rail and drayage contracts and rate negotiations.

Successfully structured and executed all ground up logistics operations for 5 new distribution centers to support the 2007 rollout of the Home Depot’s new national brand. This included full international and domestic supply chain which involved the purchase of all international and domestic transportation services.

Through cost containment tactics, successfully reduced the transportation costs for the first 2 new DC’s within their first 60 days of operations.

Through an ongoing initiative of cost reduction, successfully reduced overall transportation cost by 18.5%.

Recruited to manage and direct the dual role of redesigning and streamlining the domestic & international logistics operation as well as developing new business through sales. Directed and reengineered the training of all operations and customer service staff on the expansion of services. Managed all international export sales and operations as well as all domestic distribution and supply chain projects. Managing Director - USA

Directed the development of operations and sales from the ground up for the company’s inaugural U.S. office. Managed the day to day operation and sales of three U.S. branches with combined revenues of $18.7M. Managed all sales, operations and customer service staff for all locations. Negotiated all contracts and agreements with all LTL, TL, ocean and rail carriers and domestic / international airlines. Managed all aircraft and ship projects and charters in North America and Europe.

Successfully negotiated the cost effective purchase of a DC9-32F aircraft, which was operated weekly from Europe to Lagos, Nigeria.

Solely responsible for being awarded a $3.8M annual contract to represent and partner with Consolidated Freightways who were in need of a global partner in South Africa.
