A Senior Manager adept at growing high technology companies. Extensive experience developing products and growing businesses. Leader in all aspects of new product management and development using concurrent engineering, design for manufacturability and design for cost techniques. Developed and identified many contacts with independent electronic manufacturers for high volume hybrid assemblies to complex millimeter wave modules to support new products and businesses. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Oversaw multiple programs as part of the FOG inertial navigation system product line focusing on radiation hardened requirements within cost and schedule on programs valued at $1 - $10MM.
Created and managed the development of a state of the art RFID security access control system creating a new networked hardware and a PC based software system that functions over the internet. Won industry awards as “Best Product in Show” in 2000 and 2004 in its category.
Led development and funded the first “universal RFID proximity reader” for the security access control industry; which was patented.
Led development and promotion of over ten new products within a year, growing business by 400% over the previous year, positioning the business for accelerated growth for the future with complementary products which leveraged the installed base of equipment. This added revenue of $5MM in one year.
Increased monthly shipments 200% in less than a year through careful planning, staffing and development of turnkey supplier relationships to support business needs, resulting in a record shipment by tripling monthly revenues. Moving revenues from $4MM to $15MM annualized in two years.
Boosted sales from $5MM to $12MM within a year through salesmanship, technical service know-how, and assuring a high level of customer satisfaction early in my career at GE Laminate Materials.
Received Apple Corporation approval of our wireless circuit material for their iPad products with a potential of over $5MM in yearly sales which was 8% of company sales; shipping $1 million in a three- month period.

I manage and develop business for an overseas material provider in the PCB materials industry covering the western USA. I work with our major distributor in the USA and focus on OEM accounts that can benefit from our material offering, assisting them with design and product development using our cost competitive materials. I specifically manage multiple projects/programs with OEM’s who specify our material. Some of these OEM’s are Apple, Foxconn, Netscout, Finisar, Avago, Honeywell, GE, and others to name a few. OEM Project Development Manager– West Coast,
I managed the west coast working on business and market development activities to grow the business by focusing on new product development with OEM’s in the military and commercial electronics markets. Utilized a “program/project management methodology” to assist new OEM in using our high-speed materials. Developed relationships with many key circuit board fabrication shops and OEM’s in my area, including Apple, Cisco, General Dynamics, Lockheed, Boeing and Northrop Grumman.

We offered high speed Teflon and Hybrid thermosetting materials to the high-speed RF marketplace which included designs for high speed antennas, power amplifiers and other RF/high speed circuits in both the defense, space and commercial electronic marketplaces. Worked with key principal engineers and supply chain managers to get our material specified in new product designs.
Successfully identified 36 OEM’s and got our material specified into their new products.

Program Engineering Manager (Secret clearance),
Managed teams of 6 and up to 24 professionals in system, software, hardware, manufacturing and quality engineering departments leading a few defense programs in development stage to full production. Supported long term contracts dealing with mostly major defense contractors and managing these program developments using EVMS tools and writing new WBS proposals for state of the art FOG (fiber optic gyroscopes) inertial navigation systems and GPS / hybrid products.
Successfully manage FAB-T development program for L-3 / Boeing worth $6MM through specification negotiations and meeting the customer’s environmental testing requirements on time and within budget. This effort focused on “radiation-hardening” of our standard FOG NAV system (LN-251)
Increased DTS#2 program margin from 28% to 42% on a $1.3MM program through careful management of hours and funds for outside sourcing services. This effort developed a test platform for our legacy NAV system using RLG technology (ring laser gyros) for the Japanese Air Force.
Improved CPI/ SPI from .94/.75 to 1.02/1.02 in a four-month period on the P-8I program that is worth $9.7MM through careful planning and reassessing the budget on customer deliverables. This effort worked with Trimble in San Jose to develop our commercial SMS GPS card to integrate with our FOG NAV system.

Consulted for two partner companies helping them define their product development process. Collaborated with owners of both companies and architected product roadmaps and defined marketing and technical requirements. Specifically managed the successful development of a dual wired/wireless access controller using the IP and wireless networking domain.

CEO / President
Lead partner of a small RFID security electronics company in the homeland security market. Responsibilities include operations, product development, finance and marketing. Our technology used patented RFID circuit technology that allowed our reader controllers to detect trimode signals simultaneously at a low cost. Was the first company to incorporate chip-based solutions of wired and wireless IP Ethernet technology in the security access control industry. Former partners were a software consultant firm, The Stoker Group. Product offering provided a frontend software interface with a novel hardware system.
