A 400 Gb/s WDM System design using VIRTUAL PHOTONICS Fall 2016
Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) is implemented as the system transmits higher data rates as 400 Gb/s in the range of 100s of Gb/s.
Using the VPI Transmission Marker 8.7, by simulating the design for Optical Spectrum and Eye Diagram, an approximate BER of 10^ (-14) is obtained which is a negligible value resulting in good system performance. Bit Error Probability of OFDM system with AWGN Channel Fall 2015
Analyzed the BER performance of the OFDM system for AWGN Channel, Rayleigh Fading Channel along with a simulation channel using different modulation techniques.
The analysis is verified using multiple input and multiple outputs is the better technique to improve the BER characteristic of the MIMO-OFDM system as it increases the capacity of the system too. Physical Layer simulation of a simplified LTE-OFDM System Spring 2015
Ran the Simulations to identify the different throughputs and BER for different SNR values.
Evaluated the performance of the LTE transceiver by graphing the BER and measured throughputs. Simple Speech Recognition using MATLAB Spring 2015
Using DSP tools, the Speech waveform is converted to a set of features in the Speech Feature Extraction module.
Speech verification namely Feature Matching or Pattern matching is done using Vector Quantization for its high accuracy and ease of implementation.
Work Experience
IRISET- Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunications Hyderabad, India Summer Intern July 2014 – Oct 2014
• Analyzed the fundamentals of the Signaling Systems such as isolation, flank protection, approach and route locking, and how the use of electronics reduces the wiring material considerably both indoors and outdoors.
• Studied how the track detection system functions based on DC and AC technologies and intermediate block signaling to follow the commands such as stop depending on the block lengths and line speeds.
