Setup, adjust and prepare plastic injection molding machines, connect hoses, die heaters and any other auxiliary equipment to molds. Check pellet mix against code number to verify of a virgin material. Use precision gauges such as veneers, scales, comparators and pyrometers, CMM's as required. Regulate first and second stage pressure and cycle time. Adjust clamp force and speed; set shot size and screw speed as well as backpressure.

Responsible for start-up and shut down operations, automated machine operations, works closely with tool & die operations to ensure dimensional quality. First shot & last shot inspections to insure quality. Responsible for up keep of molding machine. Perform daily work, tool try outs and other special projects under minimum supervision. Service molding machines by cleaning dies, clearing spurs, freeing stuck parts, cleaning and loading material hoppers.
