ACCOMPLISHMENTS

If you need someone who can follow through and get results, I have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. My greatest strength is as a team player. I have received a teamwork award at GE Financial Assurance Group. At Officemax, a big multipage catalog, I was one of six core layout artists who built over 120 pages from concept to completion with five different layers, templates, master pages, style sheets, color swatches, and libraries.The team consisted of a total of thirty-five people including managers, marketers, traffic coordinators, image coordinators, senior designers, layout artists, copywriters, proof readers and indexers. The tools used are a Digital Publisher 4D database and software programs included Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat on a Mac platform. It was very successful and received high ratings within the deadline. I received recognition for doing an illustration cover for a mystery novel, Bullet in the Chamber by John DeDakis.

I competed in a Nabisco Edible Architectural contest in Chicago and won second prize for constructing a Victorian House out of Nabisco products. WORK EXPERIENCE
