Position Responsibility - Supervise program managers and project coordinators in the planning, scheduling, tracking, and quality measurements in the completion of 80 plus development projects per year for five technical authoring teams. Two of the teams were located in Shanghai China.
Highlights:
Assumed responsibility of impoverished program management process that continuously missed deadlines and deliverables.
Monitored individual process per position as well as team to determine which met operational acceptance for short term. Immediately installed temporary methods to keep operational acceptance until permanent corrective action could be installed.
Lead team to document process and add missing steps to form a complete process from project launch to close. Created monitor process to return immediate result so corrective action could be identified and initiated live.
Once process was operational worked with Quality Manager to officially document and map process to meet ISO standards.
Created evaluation metrics and recording methodology for continuous improvement.
