“What Supp?” / Recommender
A BodyBuilding.com supplement recommender made by scraping 60,000 verified reviews to help users make insightful decisions on what products they should purchase to reach their fitness goals.
●Developed a web scraper to retrieve text, reviews, comments, descriptions from Javascript
●Performed NMF and LDA to discover latent features of consumers
●Created a web application using matrix factorization with collaborative filtering options for users to receive supplement recommendations based on ratings of products previously used.
