RESEARCH INTEREST

Product development of antibody based recombinant molecules for cancer diagnosis and therapy.

Role of neutralizing and enhancing antibodies in the establishment of disease and its progression.

Anti-cancer antibodies and chemo-preventive activity of natural compounds. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Post-doctoral fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.

Ph.D. (Life sciences) University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan (India).

M.Sc. (Biotechnology) Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, Rajasthan (India).

B.Sc. (Ag) Hons. Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, Rajasthan (India). RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

August 2013-till date: Working as “Post-doctoral scientist VI” at Texas Biomedical Research Institute, San Antonio, Texas, USA. Investigating vaccine based humoral correlates of protection in vaccine protected primates. I am conducting projects for designing and engineering epitope based antibodies and assess their effectiveness against SHIV virus with a purpose of vaccine development.

May2010-August 2013: Worked as “Post-doctoral researcher” at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Harvard medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA I was involved in developing technologies to isolate protection linked epitopes to isolate single B cells expressing neutralizing antibodies and conduct passive immunization studies in rhesus macaques.

August 2009-April 2010: Investigating clinical samples from advanced stage leukemia and lymphoma patients to observe the presence and role of hCG hormone in disease progression. Performed experiments to develop recombinant bispecific antibodies against advanced stage prostate cancer. I was involved in writing SOPs about recombinant protein purification under GLP conditions.

July 2009-August 2004: Conducted research on immunotherapeutics for advanced stage cancers. Developed immunoconjugates effective against advanced stage leukemias and lymphomas (Patent applied). Generated monoclonal antibodies demonstrating 100% cytotoxicity against advanced stage prostate tumors in-vivo (Patent applied). Achieved anti-cancer plantibody generation. RESEARCH PROJECTS
