RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Identification of the NO generating decomposition product of ascorbic acid (May 2015-dec 2016)

Validated that it is not actually ascorbic but one of its decomposition products that causes NO release

Investigated the decomposed products of ascorbic using chemiluminescence separation and detection scheme (HPLC).

Created a 3D Printed device for integrating HPLC data along with the Nitric Oxide Analyzer data in real time.

Identified the compound as 2-furoic acid to develop a polymer which will contain the NO releasing compound in the background.

Finite element analysis of mechanical heart valve (Jan 2016-Apr 2016)

Designed Mechanical Mitral Valve using Solidworks and used ANSYS Workbench for meshing and stress analysis.

Stress and deformation was studied from the Finite Element Analysis and redesigning efficient models based on analysis.

Arrhythmia Detection using Lab View Software (Sep 2012-May 2013)

Worked on designing of ECG amplifier used for measuring heart rate.

Interfaced ECG amplifier with Lab-view software using DAQ card to analyze the data real time.

Data was taken from different patients and was easily differentiated into types of “Arrhythmia”
