ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Graduate Level
Bridge inspection Robot: The goal of the work was to design and construct a reliable Robot intended as a prototype for Bridge inspection. The robot could navigate autonomously and scan for cracks and the rebar. The robot was built from a CAD model to optimize mechanical design to meet the requirements of the ask on hand. The Arduino microcontroller was used and programmed to autonomously navigate and inspect the prototype bridge. The project incorporated DC Motors, IR Sensors, Ultrasonic Sensors and a Gyroscope to achieve the task on hand. Won the first place in the in-class competition. (Fall 2015 – 3 member team)
Software used: Arduino Sketch, Solid Edge, PowerPoint
Undergraduate Level
Banana Fiber metal matrix fiber Reinforced Composite: The Goal of the work was to Create and eco Friendly applications with the use of banana Crap material to create automobile Dash Board. Won the best project award. (March 2009)
Software used Ansys for the analysis
