A strategic partner with senior management on staffing, performance management, legal compliance, employee relations, compensation, recognition and the creation, implementation, review, and management of corporate policies and procedures. Counsel Managers on coaching, performance management, grievance and disciplinary issues.

Manage, negotiate, and administer company benefit plans to include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, term life, AD&D, medical/dental and dependent care flexible spending, workmen’s compensation, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), COBRA and 401K in compliance with State and Federal law. Administer all open enrollment seasons.

Led HR team in compliance to successfully pass OFCCP audit with finding of no discrepancies successfully mitigating risk of negative financial impacts. Ensure legal compliance in the areas of ACA, ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, E-Verification, and Facility Safety and Security.

Successfully shopped payroll/benefit systems, selecting and implementing PaychexFlex and Benetrac to change onboarding to a completely web-based integrated system saving on-boarding hours and allowing singular data entry for new hires. Maintain and revise the employee and corporate HRIS system and on-line intranet site (HR-Online). Incorporating templates and document samples to enable management to prepare documents in compliance with Federal and State Laws and to provide employees with continual access to forms and information required of their position.

Changes to the GTI Federal website increased visibility by 76% and activity continues to increase. Develop and manage jobs library online to aid in rapid advertisement of open positions and to provide a source for recruitment outreach availing potential candidates ease of access and rapid application through CATS-One.

Manage and coordinate employee performance evaluations and awards programs.

Jointly selected and administered company’s new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) that provided single-source employee information data used extensively by HR department and senior executives.
