Supervised 22 union employees in all departments. Responsible for all production, front line inspections, ordering of all production supplies, and packaging. Liable for accuracy and on time shipments and receiving of all goods from other outside processing plants. Direct liaison between upper management and union employees. Worked directly with suppliers of equipment in maintenance troubleshooting and repairs.

Lead 4 Stage Header Technician

Set up and maintained set ups for the bolt production department. First level of inspection on all products. Responsible for pulling all material by grade size and PO for production floor. Performed preventative and emergency maintenance on machines.

Processed between 7,000,000 to 9,000,000 pounds of steel per month. Shipped between 90,000 and 250,000 pounds of steel per night. Responsible for quality inspection of size and coatings of drawn wire and bars. Responsible for all shipping activity on second shift. Generated all shipping paperwork, steel certification, export border paperwork for Canadian shipments, staging, tagging, loading and dock audits. Entered production reports on excel spreadsheets.

Warehouse Supervisor

Supervied crew of 12 in the warehouse, shipping, packaging and assembly departments. Ordering of all supplies and hardware; scheduling, managing and tracking of all outside processing for plating and machining of product. Simultaneously assigned the position of Project Manager over one lead man and five temporary laborers for a 4-month warehouse renovation project: sourcing and purchasing of equipment and supplies; coordinated the purchasing of new racking, parts bins; responsible for machinery relocation including arranging for rigging; inventory reorganization of warehouse product. Generate and close shop orders for outside processing, assembly, and packaging. Coordinate and maintain outside processing files between manufacturing, warehouse and QC. Responsible for coordinating a team effort between manufacturing and warehouse by ensuring product is being produced to fulfill customer orders and on-time shipments of over $9.5 million in annual sales.

Schedule all aspects of machining, design and built tooling for special machining operations; order materials, source and supervise outside vendor machining on machine components and main castings. Northcoast Remanufacturing, Inc., Warrensville Heights, Ohio 1989 - 1992

Tool Room Machinist

Duties included manufacturing of obsolete and modification parts for rebuilding and refitting machine tools. Designed and built components for installation of Servo drives, ball screws and nuts for retrofitting, and updating old machines with CNC programmability. Evaluated machine tools for rebuild. Tested and ran finished machines for customer approval.

Worked directly with engineering in new product development, building and testing products for semi-conductor industry. Supervised seven employees in machining and steam coil departments.
