RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspection of city gas distribution network Mild steel according to ASME 31.8 section B.

To carry inspection of the pipeline network as per the company guidelines.

Site survey for the extension of existing network.

Co-ordination with the utility owners like Municipal Corporation, telecom companies, to maintain the safe working condition on site.

Inspection of SMAW Welded mild steel pipes GRADE X-52M PSL 2 according to API 1104 & client specification.

Verification of documents, conducting welder qualification test & issuing welder ID cards for qualified welders and monitoring of welder performance.

Maintaining Quality related records as per ISO procedure.

Ensuring stage wise inspection as per approved quality plan.

Project 2 : NTPC Kudhgi site Ducts and General Structure.

Client : Doosan Energy System Pvt. Ltd.

Designation : QA/QC ENGINEER

Description : Doosan is engaged in design and construction of STPP Power Plant project in NTPC Khudgi (Karnataka). We were engaged in manufacturing of different type of Duct Wall Structure of Boiler Component and General Structure.

Project 3 : Installation/ Up gradation of Conveyors and Crushing/Screening Building (Ores Mines) Bolani, Orissa.

Client : Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL)

Designation : QA/QC ENGINEER

Description : SAIL is engaged in design and construction of Ores Mines in Bolani Orissa. We were engaged in manufacturing Screening and Crushing Building structure Column, Base column. Purlin, laced Purlin, Hand Rail, Floor Bracing, Floor beam, Bracing, Grid Beam, etc.

Project 4 : Railway Engine Equipment structure (for e.g. Headstock, sidewall, central under-frame etc).

Client : Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW).

Designation : QA/QC ENGINEER

Description : CLW engaged in manufacture of Railway electrical engines. We are doing the fabrication work of different mechanical structure such as Head Stock, Under-frame, Central Under-frame, side wall, Roof structure etc of engine as per the design of client for the different type of engine of minimum speed to high speed trains. The different type of quality analysis process we are following as per the instruction and routine of client from pre-process to final stage of job.

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:

To assist the Site Superintendent & coordinate the supervisor’s activity, carry out and implement the QA/QC program, arrange and conduct meeting under the Site superintendent direction.

Visual checking of material as per dimension and material test certificate.

To visit site daily to check whether all works, material, equipment are in accordance with the QA/QC Program. When defective material equipment or workmanship are found immediate action to be taken to correct them.

Coordinating with internal inspection teams for inspection process. Checking the completeness of component dimensions and quality parameters. As per QAP(Quality assurance plan)

Preparing the weld inspection & material traceability certificate and updating the same.

Inspecting the weld fit-up of joint prior to root pass and visual inspection of final weld. Conducting penetrating test on welding joints.

Planning/organizing and checking of work progress and schedules to meet the deadline/target dates and implementing QA/QC plans.

Field Quality assurance maintaining the relevant Quality activity as per document(QAP)

Maintaining the Quality Document by client associate document like field register.

Conducting through stage-wise inspection as per procedure/codes as well as alignment.

Coordination with finishing department such as blasting and Painting.
