ACHIEVEMENTS

Within 6 months of hire, successfully completed update of all Concessionaire contracts for Maricopa County Parks Department as a result of an OMB Circular A-133 Single Audit performed just prior to my employment. Initially recovered $163,000 in outstanding rent and utility revenues, brought all Certificates of Insurance documents up to date and performed all required property inspections. Also, developed and implemented new contract administrative policies and procedures including tracking mechanisms and billing systems. Increased annual revenues from $400,000 to $750,000.

Substantial experience in writing and administering law enforcement grants while serving as Grants Coordinator for Town of Florence. Grants successfully managed include High Intensity Drug Trafficking Alliance (HIDTA), Edward Byrnes Justice Assistance Grant (JAG), Department of Justice Bulletproof Vests (BVP) and Governors Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) as well as Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) grants for drug enforcement overtime.

Successfully wrote and administered 2011 Public Safety Stability Grant through the Governor's Office for Economic Recovery program and funded by the American Recovery and Response Act of 2009. Project scope was for the Town of Florence Fire Department to cover additional payroll costs so that adequate firefighter staffing ratios could be provided on all fire calls and meet NFFA standards. Coordinated all aspects of grant including processing timesheets, accounting payroll forms, reconciling payments and processing reimbursement requests.
