Emergency Medicine: Valley Regional Hospital, Claremont, NH (225 Hours)
Rural emergency department (ED) responsible for high-risk community. Responsibilities included: IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, CPR, venipuncture, wound care, suturing, and stapling.
Emergency Medicine (Elective): Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, CT (184 Hours)
Responsibilities included: incision and drainage, complex and simple suturing, stapling, dermabond application, interpreting EKG’s, DRE, IV insertion, fluorescein eye staining, casting/splinting, and CPR.
Primary Care: Private Practice, Romanowsky, MD, Salem, NH (182 Hours)
Significant autonomy granted for management of chronic conditions, annual PE’s, acute conditions, medication management and prescription, cryotherapy, and mole removal/biopsy.
Medicine I: Family Health Center, Lebanon, NH (188 Hours)
Responsible for individual H&P of 15 patients per day with management of chronic conditions such as DM, HTN, and depression.
Medicine II: La Fundacion de Salud Rio Beni, Rurrenabaque, Bolivia (141 Hours)
Provided medical services to the population of Rurrenabaque and the surrounding jungle communities via the ED of Rurrenabaque Hospital and the Fundacion de Salud Clinic. Responsibilities included: routine medical exams, intraoperative assisting, labor and delivery assisting, PAP smears, suturing, injections, and wound care.
Women’s Health: OB-GYN Associates of Southern NH, Merrimack, NH (223 Hours)
Busy practice (25+ pts/day). First and second assisted open and laparoscopic procedures, C-sections, assisted with labor and delivery, IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, fetal heart monitoring, prenatal screening and exams.
Psychiatry: UVM Medical Center, Burlington, VT (208 Hours)
Psychiatric consultation service throughout all units of UVM Medical Center. Conducted interviews, mental status testing, MOCA scoring, and suicide risk assessments.
Surgery: UVM Medical Center, Burlington, VT (230 Hours)
Worked with Plastics, Oncology, and General Surgery teams at UVM Hospital and at a private clinic. Responsibilities included: first and second assisting, daily rounding, complex suturing, dressing changes, and mole/cyst removal.
Pediatrics: Child Health Services, Manchester, NH (181 Hours)
Community health clinic serving local refugees and immigrants. Performed well-child checks, contraceptive management, acute exams, and acted as a Spanish translator when required.

Medical Missions: Assistant to Physician, Dominican Republic, June 2013, November 2013, May 2014
Provided medical care to Haitian refugees and Dominican natives in extremely impoverished, rural areas surrounding the capital of Santo Domingo. Cleaned wounds, assisted in ingrown nail removal, wrapped burns, took vitals, diagnosed, and prescribed medication for over 600 patients, partially without a translator.

Assisted nurses within Outpatient Wound Care with a variety of administrative duties including: chart filing, organization of active patient wound care supplies, assisting patients with Hospital navigation, and mailing of progress reports.
Floyd Medical Center: Art Therapist, Rome, GA, January 2012-January 2013
Conducted and assisted with specialized art projects intended for mental stimulation of patients undergoing extensive stays within the hospital in all wards, including: pediatrics, oncology, pulmonary unit, and physical therapy.
