Experience

Working in HUBCO POWER PLANT NAROWAL, 225 MW IPP Combined Cycle Power Plant, as Control Room Operator from 03 Sep 2012 to till now.

Worked in MAPAL LEAF CEMENT its Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant as Associate Engineer Operation from July 19,2010 to Sep 2, 2012. It is steam power plant having one steam turbine generator capacity of 18MW, generating 6.3 KV. Five Boilers are installed at different waste heat places of cement plant and one is at Gas Engine of Wartsila, producing 70 ton steam to run the turbine.

Worked in SIEMENS PAKISTAN ENGINEERING as Control Room Supervisor from Apr 01, 2005 to July 18, 2010, at Site JAPAN POWER GENERATION Ltd 135 MW IPP and one of the largest IPPs in PAKISTAN, which has 24 DIESEL ENGINES & GENERATORS of MITSUBISHI ( 18 KU 130 A ), 4 Nos. Power Trafo. of 50 MVA ( 132KV / 11KV).

GHAZI POWER LTD. 21 MW with 06 Engine & Generator of CATERPILLAR.

Worked as Control Room Operator from Jan 22, 2003 to Apr 05, 2005.

Responsibilities & Skills

oControl the Engines & Turbine operation from SCADA.

oHave command to start/stop procedure of Engines, Turbine and Boilers.

oControl the Generators Control Panels and Outgoing panels & trouble shooting during operation.

oFamiliar with all synchronizing procedure of generators with 15Kv Busbar and then after with 132KV Busbar of WAPDA.

oFamiliar to control the 132KV Grid Station control panels and trouble shooting.

oFamiliar to Operation of MCC (Motor Control Centre) and troubleshooting.

oTo monitor any abnormality during operation and to take remedial action.

oHave ability to control the system during island operation.

oCan restore the plant after blackout.

oOperate and maintenance of ACBs, VCBs, & SF6 circuit breakers.

oTo communicate with NPCC about demand matters and plant availability.

oTo prepare the daily generation report and submitted it to NPCC and plant management.

Other Skills

Good communication skill in English and Urdu reading, writing & speaking.

Good in computers windows, Microsoft office & internet.

Can work in under stress condition.
