General tasks and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:
As Shift Supervisor:
• Coordinated planned and emergency plant shutdowns and start-up processes, maintaining minimal production losses and unexpected start-up delays.
• Proposed and implemented process modifications to enhance production and troubleshoot process bottle-necks as they were identified.
• Ensure minimum disruption to stable operation by detecting plant and equipment problems and implementing counter measures after trouble shooting.
• Respond to emergency or plant upset situations by shutting down plant or taking necessary action to restore normal running.
• Supervises overall plant operations, giving directions to operators according with operation's requirements.
• Coordination and execution of commissioning and startup, normal operation, emergency shutdown, turnaround and other major operational changes.
• Compliance with HSA standards and procedures, and instill a culture of high HSA awareness to the team.
• Executed security measures in plant as: Work-Permits, LOTO, Plant walk-downs, HAZOP, PSSR, What if?, and good housekeeping, when they were required.

As Process Technician:
• Operates, Monitor and control the operations of oil & gas processes as per operating manuals and control room instructions and accordance with standard procedures and supervisory instructions within safe operating ranges.
• Take routine readings of all process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow and level and keep the production up according the company production goals.
• Experience in tank certifications in order to facilitate loading shipments.
• Effective start-up and shut down of the plant equipment’s in accordance with the standard operating procedure/ work instruction.
• Participate in pre commissioning, commissioning, process start-ups, shut-downs and isolations of the unit.
• Inform immediate supervisor about the abnormalities/malfunctions of the plant equipment found during the operations and ensure all the safety standards are followed.
• Identifying and reporting the potential hazards by strictly following the safety guidelines.
• Participate in safety audits and safety programs and maintain a safe work environment and follow up on assigned items.
• Perform routine housekeeping activities and maintain the plant tidiness.
