Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, Alausa secretariat, Lagos 2013– Nov,2016 Teller captain

I identified and addressed errors and irregularities by calling over all daily teller transactions which reduced cases of errors and improved teller accuracy.

• I effectively manage vault to ensure that cash threshold is not exceeded by consistently monitoring tellers’ till from time to time, and maintaining their cash limit of N2 million

• I notify and promptly evacuate both local and foreign currencies to cash management department where I observe that vault cash tends to overshoot

• I properly manage vault cash to ensure sufficiency for customers and ATMs, as well as process cash request where vault cash is below threshold

• I do intermittent vault cash balancing by confirming physical cash ( local and foreign currency )tally with system balance.

• Balancing vault at close and open of shift.

• I ensure accurate proofing preparation(GL proof, Atm proof, sib proof and time deposit) and reconciliation

• Adequate reporting of branch general ledgers

• I am responsible for the authorization and confirmation of cheques

• I improved customer service time by maintaining SLAs at tellers’ service points to ensure they don’t exceed 5 minutes in processing customer transactions

• I attend to customer enquiry / resolving complain and also inform customer of any updates on our existing product and also introduce them to our new products.
