Project:

Performance characteristics of diesel engine fueled with preheated rice bran oil methyl ester

Role: Group leader.

Project Details:

Prepared RBOME through transesterification process in the presence of nano catalyst ZnO.

RBOME blended with pure diesel at different concentration.

Blends were preheated at different temperature before injecting it in the combustion chamber.

Performance test of Rice bran oil methyl ester (RBOME) blends were conducted on single cylinder 4-stroke VCR CI engine.

Results of the various blends at various preheating temperature were analyzed.

Quality assurance department:

Handled first piece, last piece and in-process inspection of the parts.

Conducted final inspection for quality assurance and physical parameters test before dispatch.

Handled receiving inspection from vendors.

Preparing and releasing inspection reports and control plans.

Maintaining drawing revisions and ECN.

Validating and implementing changes in the manufacturing process according to ECN.

Inspecting and validating raw material from suppliers.
