Summary of work experience:

I have more than 11 years experience in UAE and KSA to supervise & inspection of Various Construction/Civil & structures works with international contracting & Consultants companies. Project such as Construction, Infrastructures, (Roads & Bridges) Buildings, Underground Tunnels, Earthworks & Excavation, and Material Testing of soil, concrete & Asphalt AC & DBM & Super Paver mix design. Infrastructures sewerage & Drainage pipe lines GRP, UPVC, RCC & DI, from 100mm dia to 2400mm dia, GRP Manholes and pre-cost manholes, Pumping station and Treatment plant.

Title: Road and Material Testing Inspector July, 2014 – Up to Present

Project Description:

Al Madinah Al Munawwara Housing Project – Infrastructure and Road Developments. Total area 1505254 m (Running)

Jeddah Airport Housing Project – Infrastructure and Road Developments. Total area 200700 m (Complete)

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise the work and looking the Laboratory and field tests during the construction of all material.

Supervision of all types construction works including the Earthwork, Sub-Grade, Sub Base, Road Base, Aggregate Base Course (F.D.T as per Sand cone and Nuclear Method, GRADATION, PROCTOR, CBR, ETC), Bitumen Base & Wearing Course and Super pave asphalt (Mix design),Prime Coat, Tack Coat, Asphalt, Irish crossing, cut of-walls, mortar rip, gabion, pavement Bridges, Box culvert, Pipe culvert etc. checking Mix Design concrete and quality test of aggregate and slump, temperature and Cylinders and Cube test, delivery time, kind of mix and if concrete is poured within allotted time.

Checking expansion joints, filling material, grouting in pipe culverts

checking bar bending schedule of structure i.e. reinforcement fixing, concrete pouring, and expansion joint as well as pre-pour and Post-pour.

Approved shop drawing and applicable stand work at a site and also follow up control procedures and project specification. Making site technical queries clarification to ensure that all civil work carried out accordingly and compliance with standard drawing.

Reporting to the Resident Engineer / Civil & Structure Engineer

Review technical reports for rehabilitation work as per site condition and contract.

Checked the plans; profile grades and cross sections including super elevations together with the road structure elevations in conformity with the approved working drawings.

Review of Drawings and checking of material availability in site as per drawings

Supervise for various construction works for Infrastructure work & civil activities Roads, sewage pipeline, storm water, Portable water, etc.

Check, inspect, supervise the excavation of trenches.

Checking hydrostatic pressure test for potable water, deflection test for storm water and air test & water leakage test for sewer.

Preparing daily activities, weekly & monthly Progress reports.

Precast yard inspections for Reinforcement and Concrete works preparing precast manhole & chamber, roads gullies etc.

Job Responsibilities:

As Supervise site and Senior Lab Technician Civil Laboratory and ensure that all necessary tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt and field density tests are done and quality control are always observed.

Responsible for all laboratory personnel and all issues regarding to materials

Testing such as soil classification for approved borrow materials, suitable and unsuitable materials on site, soil bearing capacity thru plate load test, and in-field density test sand cone and Nuclear Method,

Give insights and recommendations to the construction manager for issues pertaining to quality of materials.

Responsible for day to day operation of the Laboratory Works.

Maintenance and updating all records related to the material testing.

Performed all quality control functions on site job aspect of the project, includes making Request for inspection (RFI), conducting inspections, reporting of noted deficiencies to management.

Responsible for all quality control functions on site job aspect of the project.

Prepare quality control reports and related to QA/QC documents to be distributed to Client Coordinator, QC Manager and Contractor Manager.

Interface with Client and Contractor QC group for all on site inspections and/or testing requirements.

To maintain speed of the project, as decided by the management without compromising the quality of the work at any stage of the project.

Summary of Qualification:

(DAE) Diploma of Associate Engineer.

Certificate is verified from Govt. of Pakistan, and Royal Embassy of Kingdom Saudi Arabia, and Embassy of United Arab Emirates.
