DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE

•Preparation of Project Quality Plan (PQP), Quality Control Plan (QCP) Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) in accordance with the applicable quality system standards and or Contractual specification requirements. Review of Planning Package, Construction Work Package to understand the scope of work.

•Review of WPS, PQR for various materials and Conduct WQT related documents according to Codes and Standards of the Projects, and maintaining welder continuity records.

•Interfaces with responsible for inspection and control activities. Liaises with Clients about Quality matters, Ensures that safety standards are observed and guarantee the quality and quantity of the work.

•Responsible for the inspection/testing/installation were to carry-out inspections of contractors according to ITP such as review drawings, procedures.

•Material inspection (MRR) and material verifications, review the MTC for valve, pumps, compressor Package units and Structural, Piping and Pipe fittings. Familiarize with contract specification, applicable codes and standards.

•Weld Fit-up Inspection, Consumable control, Dimensional Inspection, Visual Inspection on completed welds.

•Coordinate NDE and review of NDE reports, RT film interpretation, PWHT chart’s, Hydro test, PMI Testing and Review of Quality control Packages. Inspection and review activity carried out to accept the packages and report and make punch list.

•Hydro test pack preparation, carry out punch-listing pre/post test. Witness/supervise Hydro/pneumatic testing activities (test packs, weld and NDT records etc) and reinstatement check and review

•Review and follow-up on NCR and CAR, Plan and active in line with project progress and Inspection & Test Plan.

•Documentation of all Inspection reports, AB 83,Quality turnover preparation and coordinating with client for approval and ensure all the activities carried out to all HSE Policies and Procedures.

Exposure in the field of Equipments:

Inspection of installation of static equipments-foundation checking. Horizontality / verticality, nozzle orientation inspection of internals etc.

Inspection of Columns, and pressure vessels etc during ATA

Here, I worked as a Team Leader Job involves UT, MT, PT and vacuum test on heat exchangers, columns, furnaces, reactors, pressure vessels, air coolers and storage tanks, during shut-down activities.

Inspection of Erection/Fabrication lines for Pressure Vessels Tanks and Pipes and their dimensional Inspection as per client approved drawings

Inspection rotary equipment’s-foundation checking, elevation checking, Horizontality / verticality, nozzle orientation, preliminary alignment checking, release for grouting, final alignment, free and flange alignment, flange parallelism, pre-commissioning activities etc.

Checking final alignment (free and flanged) flange parallelism with suction and discharge piping, half- coupling distance.

Stage wise inspection of pre – fabricated vessels and piping right from material identification to final hydro testing and final certification.

Corrosion monitoring of process plant equipment’s such as heat exchangers, column, fired heaters, storage tanks, boilers and piping by Ultrasonic thickness measurement.

On stream condition monitoring of static & rotary equipment’s & Temperature survey of fired heaters and high temperature equipment’s and forecasting the top management about the health condition and recommending the remedial measure to be taken.

Exposure in the field of Coating & Insulation Inspection:

Prior to the painting activity inspect the surface conditions and also monitor and record weather conditions periodically before commencing any painting / coating operation at the project site

Work involved in selecting the paint systems according to the specification, Preparation and application methods.

Controlling, management and execution of all specified inspection activities as per inspection specification and codes, witness procedures and tests and interpret results accurately. Random check on incoming materials for proper certification / verification and inspection records to ensure product identification and trace ability. Following of Quality Control Procedure (QCP) Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Method of Statement

Inspects compressors, air blast hoses and other items of equipment necessary to achieve satisfactory blasting nozzle pressures

Check coating thickness to ensure conformance with Code and Standard requirements Performs holiday testing of critical coatings Review and comments on quality control program developed in construction contractors

Witness the Insulation works (Hot, Cold and Cryogenic Acoustic) carried out by the crew within their disciplines to meet the Project Specification & as per Approved Method statements and following Inspection and Test Plans to achieve the Project Quality Standards.

Perform final inspections. Identify and records quality problems using nonconformance procedures. Verify implementation of approved corrective actions. Perform stage inspections as required in the Project. Ensuring that all work performed both on and off site strictly following safety standards
