Duties included cutting pipe into correct sections ranging from 6 to 24 inches plus. Beveled the end pieces of pipe and used a lathe to between 52.5-53 degrees. Cut pipe with a plasma cutter to the correct fittings. Cleaned the slag and prepped the pieces for welding. Cleaned the inside of the pipe, filed off BB's and removed any abnormal weld lines such as bulges or globs in the welds. Pipe was stamped for inventory and then painted.
