WORK EXPERIANCE

I have completed my graduation in Chemistry in the year 1976. I got first class and opted for Master of Social Work(MSW) in Rajagiri College. But after 7 months I discontinued the course and joined Federal Bank as a graduate trainee. After 1 year I was confirmed in clerical cadre. I got promotion as a scale I officer in 1991 and transferred to Calcutta. I have worked there for 3 years and was posted to a rural branch in Malappuram district. I was promoted to scale II in 2001 and was transferred to Tirupur /Industrial Finance branch. I worked there for 41/2 years.I got good exposure there in SME and forex advances in hosiery Industry. I got promoted to Scale III in the year 2006 and was transferred to Kottarakkara branch where I got exposure in Cashew Export. After 11/2 years I was transferred to Mumbai for opening a new branch in Sakinaka, Andheri/East. I was sucessful in making that branch a Rs.50 crore branch within 2 years. I got promoted to scale IV and was posted to Mumbai Zonal Office as Regional Retail Head. I worked there for 1 year. After 1 year I was transferred to Kochi branch as branch head. Here I got exposure in Seafood export and Spices Export industries,Retail loans like Housing loan, car loan and loan against property. I was successful in making that branch a vibrant one and is going to retire from there in May 2015.
