Senior Project manager, Airservices Australia Transition to centralised IP Telephony Platform for 39 regional locations. – project value $10M

Senior Project Manager, SingTel Optus transition to IP Telephony platform for Contact Centre integration as part of a full managed service implementation for the Australia Taxation Office for 55 regional locations – project value $250M

Project Director, SingTel Optus provision of full Managed Services and Communications for the Dept of Immigration – project value $25M.

Project Managed the Boeing / Dept of Defence contract to rollout out a national enterprise management IP network for voice system maintenance administration, call centre applications and IP deployment across 230 sites.

As Sr. Telecommunications Analyst, managed and supported a full Interactive Intelligence CTI Call Centre solution for PeopleSoft Australia, giving the Asia Pac region 24 hr support inclusive for all EMEA and North America call centres.

Able Communications International (changed to ACI Professional Services Sept 2013) is a solely owned and operated telecommunications consulting company providing professional services to the IT/Telecommunications industry.

DIRECTOR / PROJECT EXECUTIVE

Founder and Director of ACI Pro Services / Able Communications, working with Government and major Commercial organisation with devising strategies to improve productivity, reduce cost, and increase profitability for customers through best utilisation of IT&T infrastructure and services.

Directed and managed projects from consultation through to delivery including infrastructure design, tendering of contracts, managing vendor agreements, budget management, and compliance and service level reviews.

Led a 2.5 year contract with NSW Police Services to rollout a major PABX compliance management and upgrade solutions, working from initial requirements through to delivery.

Shared Services ICT provides ICT Services to the whole of the ACT Government inclusive of the following Directotates, Treasury, Education, Health, Environment, Justice, Transport and City Services.

SNR PROJECT MANAGER (contract)

Engaged for the the business transition of the obsolete MAZE administration system with a state of the art Sentral Schools Administration syste. For the Education Directorate of ACT Government. This transition in vovels 87 schoools and over 40,000 students, teachers and administrative users. Utilising the first of it’s kind in the ACT Gorenment environment the system is integrated within a Microsoft Azure environment which is also being delivered by the project. Responsibility for both business and technical integrations and delivery. Estimated value approximately $10M AUD. Responsibilities included but not limited to:

Manage a range of business projects, often concurrently, in accordance with recognised project management methodologies to deliver a quality outcome within agreed tolerances.

Ensure business need is articulated and mapped to technical solutions using formal agreed business analysis processes.

Document and develop essential project artifacts, including business cases, project plans, tender documentation and general status reports, both scheduled and ad hoc.

Employ sound project management principles and practices, including financial management, to ensure projects deliver planned outcomes.

Airservices is a government-owned corporation providing safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry. Airservices manage air traffic operations for over 80 million passengers on more than four million flights every year.

SNR PROJECT MANAGER (contract)

Engaged by Airservices Australia as SR Project Manager for development and planning for the replacement and upgrade of voice services systems at end of life to an Alcatel Omni VoIP and Contact Centre. Approximately 39 facilities nationally were successfully transitioned. VST Project estimate approx. $10m.

Development and implementation of the Planning Phase Plan addressing the requirements identified in the Project Investment Proposal.

Delivery of detailed Project Management plans schedules and budgets and other Project Management products.

Delivery of Technical and Specialist requirements, plans, designs, specifications, addressing project requirement for, among other things, Safety, Procurement, Systems Engineering, Operations, Asset Management, Training, Environmental Management and Transition.

Analysis of costed options for solution and delivery/transition approach.

Development of acquisition strategy, and request for quotes and tenders for products and services required for project delivery

Supporting delivery of the Business Case for approval for the proposed project delivery budget.

Engaged as SR Project Manager for the Department of Immigration (DIAC) national network refresh project.

This is the Australian Government service which monitors and controls the private and commercial airways in Australia.

Initially appointed to support Alphawest with a number of project management strategies and pre-sales support before moving into the position of Project Director on the Singtel Optus; Department of Immigration National Managed Services and Communications upgrade. Provided Snr PM Role to SingTel Optus as part of the national Australia Tax Office Managed Services rollout team.

Set the project strategy and project infrastructure model to successfully integrate this first-of- its- kind “Managed Services and Communications” project for Alphawest section of Sign Tel.

Coordinate and direct project budget ($25m) and oversee project deliverables across a national geographic area.
