Interned for two months at the # 1 ranked cement factory in India, supervised by field Engineers.

Gained a vertical understanding of the cement making process, from mining to distribution

Spent 2-3 weeks in each of the major sites, studying flow charts, literature and software associated with each step in the cement process.

Worked with engineers in each area of specialty to learn what their day to day tasks were and how they solved the different problems they faced.

Completed reports and participated in the discussion after each step in the cement process with the team and identifying improvements, limiting factors, and innovations in the field.

Spent 8 weeks in R&D performing the quality tests that cement must go through.

Spent time in the lab learning about the different tests used to improve the cement making process.
