Ericsson – Plano TX Feb 2012-Present

Lead Performance Test Engineer

Project: ITSM

Ericsson, a Telecom giant is replacing it’s old Remedy Management tool with new BMC Remedy Tool. The tool is to be tested for performance after doing some customizations to the BMC tool according to the requirements of Ericsson.

BMC Remedy tool is used by the Employees and End Users of the organization for reporting their Complaints or Requests and tracking their status. The Requests or the Complaints are raised as tickets by the Service Desk Analyst and those are resolved by the Service Group Agents.

Responsibilities:

•Designed the load model by collecting production statistics from the related applications & as per business requirements.

•Successfully developed proof of concept for ITSM with LoadRunner instead of BMC recommended tool which is a very cost effective solution.

•Played a major role in decoding the Backchannel communication in application, developing correlations & test data preparation.

•Added C code in the scripts for writing /reading some values to a file.

•Executed multiple load tests and endurance test.

•Delivered the project successfully with stringent timelines

Project: SAP HANA Implementation(TR1508)

SAP SNC (Supply Network Collaboration) is used to synchronize and automate the flow of information between your company and your suppliers (i.e., between Customer and Supplier Systems). SAP HANA, short for "High-Performance Analytic Appliance" is an in-memory, column-oriented, relational database management system developed by SAP. HANA's architecture is designed to handle both high transaction rates and complex query processing on the same platform.

The objective of this project is migrate the current Oracle database to HANA and performance testing was done to test the improvement because of migration & to tune if there are any bottlenecks

•Defined baseline with Oracle 11g database & compared the results of application with SAP HANA database

Project: ERIMO

Erimo is a marketing application and what CRM360 application does will be marketed to the customers through this application. They can know the various opportunities, contracts and sales process that were present and can opt for choosing them.

Responsibilities

•Responsible for setting-up the test environment to ensure that all the needed components have been implemented in the test environment.

•Played major role in solving issues with respect to troublesome transactions

•Component break down in each transaction was made and identified the pain areas.

•Page availability was increased to 56% compared to older version.

•Executed 2 rounds of load test and presented detailed report.

Project: SAP Consolidation

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) application offers flexible, automated support for processing various goods movements and for managing stocks in the warehouse complex. The system supports planned and efficient processing of all logistics processes in the warehouse.

SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) supports you in all activities connected with the physical transportation of goods from one location to another.

The SAP TM and SAP EWM are hosted on independent individual platforms and it is proposed that the two applications will be moved to a common platform.

Responsibilities:

•Developed proof of concept for performance testing of NWBC Business client (SAP TM module) using LoadRunner11.0.

•Designed load model.

•Successfully delivered performance test results by overcoming many environment dependency issues.

•Enhanced the scripts by adding loops and customised functions.

•Got the Best Team award for successful delivery by solving all the issues encountered.

Project: SMP - MySupport

Ericsson employees are accessing multiple tools and interfaces when it comes to queries pertaining to various cross functional teams for support (e.g. IT Service Desk, HR Direct etc MySupport Portal” has been introduced to provide a single interface for all Ericsson employees to raise and track the request. The tickets raised in MySupport portal will get created in SMP portal from which support desk agents will resolve those tickets.

Responsibilities:

•Developed the Load Model for this application by gathering production statistics from related applications & as per business requirements.

•Simulated load on SMP application along with Mysupport as both the applications share same Application & Database servers.

•Executed multiple load tests to figure out an issue with Load Balancer.

•Presented the Performance test summary report to client and got appreciation.

I have also worked as performance test engineer for other projects like Eridoc, SAP eshop, SAP SNC AKAMAI and Demad IT. I have worked as functional test engineer for ETLUpgrade and ELIS(Done integration testing between SAP One and ELIS system).

AIG, world leaders in insurance and financial services. AIG companies serve commercial, institutional and individual customers through the most extensive worldwide property-casualty and life insurance networks of any insurer. AIG offers products like Commercial auto insurance, Public auto-Para transit and Non-Standard personal auto insurance. This Project was a Web Based Application for the auto insurance consumers. New Customers can receive the quote for their vehicles. Existing customers has complete access to renew their subscription, manage their accounts, claim their insurance claims. They can completely manage their account online.
