Resume:

Harry Hunter Jr.

P. O. Box ****, Marietta, GA ***61 678-***-**** acy7st@r.postjobfree.com

“When people keep telling you that you can’t do a thing, you kind of like to try it,” Margaret Chase Smith. I’ve taken on a number of challenges in the past few years. Not surprisingly, I’ve come across a handful of naysayers along the way. For instance, people who said things such as:

• “Many people have applied for that job-you’ll never get it”.

• “You must be out your mind to try and transition from over-the-road to a local job”.

Instead of settling for less than I am capable of, I worked persistently to meet these challenges:

• I applied for the job in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and competed among many well qualified people, and I was selected based on my attention to detail, electronic technology certification, and customer service.

• In a year, I have managed to transition from over-the-road to a local job that allows me to pursue more opportunities.

With these experiences, I am anxious to put my training, skills, and optimism to work in an organization that values commitment and rewards innovation. The combination of my leadership, adaptability to new concepts and systems, client support, and time management skills would no doubt be of interest to the right organization. The enclosed resume touches briefly on my employer contributions. I look forward to a meeting in which I can further qualify my candidacy, as well as, learn about the positions for which I would be a good match. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Harry Hunter Jr.

Enclosure
