Application System Tester.

The OPS has a PeopleSoft HCM application that is a large part of its ERP footprint. A significant part of the HR/Payroll functionality is delivered through this system. The OPS has 65,000 employees that it pays bi-weekly. It also has eight unions of varying size that represent a significant portion of its population base. The WIN renewal project focuses on the update of PeopleSoft HCM upgrade from v9.0 to v9.2.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Within the Cluster, which provides IT services in support of the mission critical OPS Human Resources, including quality assurance and business support for changes/upgrades to the WIN systems.

Project leading the planning and implementation of the Integration and Regression Phase of the systems development lifecycle for the testing of all changes to the OPS Human Resources, payroll and related systems and processes; including preparing project plans, determining and developing technical requirements, resources estimates, determining schedules, monitoring activities, providing status reports and project control.

Project leading strategies and enhanced usage of test automation tools including defining technical requirements for test automation tools, designing test automation techniques and identifying/resolving defects in test automation setup.

CIPG has thousands of major customers and supporting 250 variations of files. CIPG processes, transform, routes the sensitive data files according to the EDI specification standards and customer requirements. GXS used as B2B component within CIPG for routing.

Quality Test Analyst

Genesys IVR Transformation is voice recognition IVR system. The front-end is developed using Voice @ Work and Vonetix functions are used to access the data stored in the XML file format on a separate Vonetix server. This system handles both voice and touch tone responses, the identical feature of this system is, if the caller has difficulties with speaking the responses and is responding with touch tone, then the system will demote to DTMF mode and start prompting the caller for touch tone responses. This system provides the callers with the information about their Health Insurance policies. Callers can check on their Claim State, Coverage and Benefits (Eligibility) policies, Request an Insurance card ID, changing a Primary Care Doctor (PCP) or Dentist (PCD), Flexible Spending Account, Contact Information and Request the Documents (like Directories or Claim Forms) over the telephone. When the caller says “I want to speak with an Agent” or touch key pad “0” or is having trouble with the system’s recognition to understanding, this application is developed intelligent enough to route the call to the designated customer service representative based on the actions of the caller.
