Worked as a client rep/I&C commissioning coordinator for CF industries. As a client rep, I would work with the engineering team and the construction team to ensure that the instrumentation was installed correctly and followed the client’s specs and expectations in a timely manner. As the I&C coordinator I was responsible for all commissioning activities including: pre checks, loop validation, QAQC, proper installations of instrumentation, BMS checks, calibrations, function testing (interlock and safety), Bently Nevada commissioning activities, procurement of project needs, and progress reporting of commissioning completion. 03-21-11 to 06-5-15: Duke Energy IGCC-(Lead I&C Tech)-(Integrated Gas Combined Cycle)- Edwardsport,IN

My responsibility as a Lead I&C tech was the commissioning and startup of a 618 MW IGCC power plant with two GE 700FB natural gas/syngas combustion turbines and one GE steam turbine with GE Mark VIE control system. Assisted in loop checks of instrumentation and provided support in commissioning and start up of the Gasification, Sulfur Recovery, Acid Gas Removal, BMS systems, Coal Grinding, Air Separation Unit, Grey Water, and Water Treatment. I assisted in the calibration and maintenance of Rosemount 700XA Gas chromatographs, Ametek 5100HD, Emerson X2FD, and Applied Analytical spectrophotometer analyzers. Assisted in SIS testing of BMS and safety systems, and assisted in the development of BMS and SIS procedures. Also worked as a administrator for a data collection system used to track completion for commissioning and start up. Supervised users, created data base forms, did basic and advanced programming. I was also responsible for over $350,000 of computer inventory, and created applications to track inventory and share documents with technicians, management, and other users. 02-14-11 to 03-12-11: Mosaic Plant –(I&C Tech)-Convent, La Contract by Merrit

Assisted in upgrading of an older control system to a Ovation DCS. I also verified loops, calibrated instruments, and red lined drawings for the new system. 8-12-10 to 11-5-10: Covidien Pharmaceutical- (I&C Tech)- St. Louis, Mo Contracted by Process Technical Services (PTS)

Job duties included preventive maintenance and support. Preventive maintenance included flow testing flow meters and function testing level, pressure transmitters, and scales. Rebuilding valves when necessary, also calibrating Ph Analyzers, O2, and LEL analyzers. And frequently worked in safe rooms in full ppe. 2-3-10 to 4-28-10: LG&E (I&C Tech)-Coal Fire Start Up-Trimble County, Ky Contracted by Technical Diagnostic Services (TDS)

Start up on a Super Critical Coal Fire with Hitachi steam turbines using Mark VI. My responsibilities include but not limited to: Calibration on all Pressures, levels, flows, temp transmitters and valves. Loop checks from field devices to Ovation DCS system.

Responsibilities include all I&C calibrations, repair, and installation on instrumentation. 9-14-09 to 10-2-09: Entergy (I&C Inspector QA/QC)- St. Francisville, la Contracted by Washington Group (URS)

Responsibilities were all I&C and electrical inspections of all job tasks during shutdown. Over saw workers performing maintenance and calibration on equipment. 3-6-09 to 8-23-09: HECO Energy-(LEAD I&C Tech, Startup and Commissioning)-Kapolei, Hi Contracted by PAC Industrial

Responsibilities include leading a team in directly working with HECO and Siemens in start up and commission a single cycle G6 Siemens turbine. Responsibilities also include ordering all calibration equipment needed, organizing day to day work operations of I&C Techs, and keeping detailed documentation of all paper work for turn over packages.

2-2-09 to 3-4-09: Exxon Refinery-(I&C Tech)-Torrance, Ca Contracted by Brinderson

Responsibilities included calibration of all instruments and valves and preformed loop checks. Also worked directly with Bafco rep in repairing and calibrating all Bafco emergency block valves ranging anywhere from 60” to 92” butterfly, and knife gate valves.

11-20-08 to 1-30-09: Cleco Power-(I&C Tech) Coal Fire Start Up-Alexandria, La Contracted by Shaw

Responsibilities include calibrations, walk downs, loop checks, and troubleshooting. Worked with Limitourqe, Rotork, and Auma MOVS. Helped with all function testing and loop verification of instruments. Hitachia turbine and controls.

8-10-08 to 11-15-08: Tate and Lyle-(I&C Tech) Ethanol start up-Fort Dodge, Ia Contracted by ITI

Responsibilities were operations support for all turned over and energized equipment. Also including P&ID walk downs, loop checks, calibrations, troubleshooting, and informing all plant personnel of the operation and maintenance on all I&C equipment.

6-22-08 to 7-13-08:Siemens-(I&C Tech) 2 on 1 Start Up -Rosario, Argentina Contracted to NES

Responsibilities included all calibration and loop checks of all instrumentation, valves, and MOVS. Also included complete loop checks of all wiring to and from the DCS for correct terminations. I worked as a team member in commissioning of the new Siemens V94-3A4 gas turbine. 4-02 to 6-05-08: Mirant – (I&C Consultant) Coal fire SCR Start-Up project- Aquasco, MD Contracted to Renaissance Resources

Responsibilities include building turnover packages, oversight of all instrumentation and controls installation, calibration, and quality control inspections of instrument and electrical integrity. Worked as a team member of the start- up commission of the SCR project. Instruments were Foxboro using Foxboro digicom, using Foxboro I/A Series Control System (Foxcom).

3-17 to 3-30-2008: Bastrop Energy (I&C Tech) 2on1 combined cycle– Bastrop, Tx Contracted to Instrumentation Services International Responsibilities included routine calibration on all Rosemount pressure and flow transmitters. Also replacing malfunctioning devices with new calibrated devices. All work was performed for the calibration and maintenance of a Combined Cycle power plant with two GE 7FA combustion turbine, and a Toshiba Steam turbine.

11-26 to 3-12-2008: Sabine Pass LNG (I&C Tech) Start up - Port Author, Tx- 2007 Contracted to Technical Diagnostic Services

Responsibilities included Installation and calibration of all flow, level, temperature, and pressure process control equipment from Yokogawa, Rosemount, Siemens, and Honeywell instruments. I also included calibrating: gas analyzers, level& pressure switches, positioners, potentiometer on jetty arms, and assisted in troubleshooting faulty loops, control valves and making adjustments and repairs when necessary on all equipment. I also assisted an overseas chenniere employee from Germany in commissioning and wiring of Jetty profibuss control system. I also assisted in the start up and commissioning of two GE Turbine LM 2500 controlled by a GE DCS.

10-15 to 11-23-2007: PCS Nitrogen (I&C Tech)– Augusta, GA – Contracted to Instrumentation Services International Responsibilities included installation and calibration of new Honeywell and Rosemount smart transmitters, temperature elements and control valves along with functional loop verification back to its respective DCS. We also assisted PCS technicians and engineers with the Bentley Nevada systems for all pumps, compressors and turbines. We also configured brackets and tubing for installation of new instrumentation, pulled new wiring and installed conduit for many new instruments. Did complete control swap for a GE Frame 5 Turbine controlled by a Triconix DCS.

9-20 to 10-13-2007: Hines Energy (I&C Tech) – Bartow, Fl Contracted to Instrumentation Services International I worked with Siemens DCS Engineering to verify that all instrumentation and hardwired logic points were correct in the database after complete decommissioning of a Siemens TDX 2000 and complete new installation of a Siemens T3000 DCS controlling a Westinghouse 501G Steam and gas turbine power plants. Every individual point was functionally checked back to the DCS form the field for complete loop check verification. 9-03 to 9-15-2007: Smurfit Stone –(I&C Tech) Jonesboro Hodge, La Contracted by Manpower for shutdown

Responsibilities included installation and calibration of smart transmitters, temperature elements and control valves along with functional loop verification.
