My experience acquired while handling the ever-changing financial issues of a regional medical equipment and supply company for the past 19 years is unique. He served 30+ years on staff at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette School of Music (including six years as department head); he was appointed State Supervisor of Music for the Louisiana Department of Education; and he was inducted in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 1989. My mother supported my father and successfully raised seven children on a professor’s salary. I have always strived to continue in their legacy of commitment to family, loyalty to the employer, and integrity, which was handed down through the generations.
