Using Java I developed an Android version of an application which was written in IPhone devices and is on the Apple Store. The application retrieves and submits data to a Web Service using REST, and JSON based payloads.

User data is stored on the device using SQLite.

Software Engineer – Mobile Epiphany

Using Java and C# with MonoDroid / Xamarian I designed and developed interfaces in an Android (Soon to port to iPhone) application which is designed to be a business process, step-by-step end-user in-the-field application. The design of the end user interface is all customizable via the Desktop version of the suite of software. The end rendering engine is robust enough to render any display of information exactly as designed on the Desktop Utility with many complex variations in possible final inputs and look and feel and use a minimum amount of memory on the device.

Used SQLite to store client-side data on the device.

I also performed conversion and translation to Java from C#, and also from C# to Java.

Contract employee working to create and enhance new and existing projects aimed at multiple types of users and clients using C# and ASP.NET. Developed many web applications focused on speed-sensitive, massive data manipulation in MS SQL Server.

I enhanced the CountBuilder application by adding the ability to import data from CSV, TXT and MDB files for on-demand production of real-time demographic report/data lists for mass-mail marketing campaigns.

I developed an interface between the CountBuilder application and PayPal using the PayPal API so that marketing firms could purchase demographic-specific data lists on demand.

I also developed a web-based application that would generate C# class files on-the-fly based on SQL Server table information.

I began my career at ESS as a part-time collector. From there I moved into Technical Support where I was able to utilize my existing skills and learn a broad range of new ones, including JavaScript, Classic ASP, VBScript, PERL, etc.

I converted the existing suite of desktop-based OSHA Compliance software including Incident Reporting, Training and Safety Management, Right To Know, and MSDS management software into a suite of web applications, called WebConnect, using classic ASP.

I also incorporated the existing Crystal Reports written for the desktop application into WebConnect seamlessly.

Using C#, I designed a self-driven application to interface with the corporate website (hosted separately at the time) to maintain data integrity between the website database and the internal client support database.

Using C#, I designed an automated application to interface with a third party FTP site to download sensitive employee information, unzip and extract to an XML file and pass to the application to import.

Saving countless hours I designed an application, using Visual Basic, for internal use with a very simple user interface which restores the integrity of customer data, which had become corrupted by existing corporate desktop application.

I wrote and maintained the entire corporate website

I was also responsible for and performed Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for our website on many search engines such as Google, WebCrawler, Lycos, Excite, Ask.com, etc.
